unless youre ssf the best way to quickly get upgrades early is trading in the early game you can buy rares with stats u want for 1 exalted off the trading website, rather than gambling your exalts trying to craft stuff yourself

I agree :) though I think aug/transmutes can be huge on gear your seeking, i've 'crafted' quite a few 2-5div items just from picking up stuff I needed and being smart about what to exalt then selling it if it isn't for my build - the main thing I remember being a high ES +minion skill helm with some other solid stats selling for 5div.
