Enjoyed this a lot. As a first time player this guide served as a great "I'm actually playing this game correctly" confirmation. When I play games that are this indepth, I usually find myself wondering if I'm missing something or not playing it correctly. Thankfully, I was doing everything you cover in this video. Yippee! 😂

Great video friend, great guide, loved it. Important note for new players: if you press Alt you can lookup any of the underlined words anywhere in the game, and you can lookup all the words on the definitions that pop up as well. Alt is a super easy "tell me more" button. As someone who first tried POE this week it's crucial. Easy to use single button for knowing as much as you want about the mechanical details, interactions, etc, as much as you want.

One thing you missed that will help for those that decide to stick with the game is the ingame shop to upgrade stash tabs and purchase specified stash tabs for Currency, Gems, Uniques etc.

Good stuff as always man. Long time Destiny player and I'm loving POE2. Mercenary. I'm right at the Ascendency trial at level 22 just like you mentioned. Not sure where to go now to level up but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Vendors refresh their inventory on level up, so when you level go back to town and see if they got some juicy stuff to buy.

Awesome video! It’s my first time playing POE and this was in depth, thorough and entertaining. I’m playing on console so the only thing I’m still trying to figure out is the different conditions for boss life bars (green vs red, bluish bracket on top and bottom that seem to be on a timer?). But this video definitely cemented the info I gathered while hovering over the info in game

Couple PoE content creators to check out if you end up enjoying the game! Raxxanterax & Darth Microtransactions - Popular ARPG streamers that give great game/community updates and tends to focus on the average player experience. Alkaizer - Melee specialist. Not the most helpful streamer in the world but an amazing player. GhazzyTV - Minion specialist, tons of helpful info and guides. Jungroan - Great player with a heavy endgame focus. SirGog - Detailed patch notes & meta analysis. Grimro - Great player that used to have a very heavy focus on the in game economy, not as much in PoE2 (yet). Engineering Eternity - This one’s a bit unique. He has some very old but EXTREMELY thorough guides on PoE1 that can really help you understand the complex mechanics of these games. His videos really helped me get into PoE1 many many years ago. There’s plenty more but that’s what I got off top
