Hi Dean, thanks for your fork bag description. Although I like the way they look and the name recognition, I definitalty don't think the bags are inexpensive. A set of cages and bags is $142. I opted for a set from Amazon basics for 40 Euros which includes two bags and cages. I've only used them on one bikepacking trip (10 days) through the Czech Republic and they performed well. The bags are a little taller and narrower but also water proof with a 4.5 liter volume each. The verdict is still out since I only used them once so far. Also, I tend to stuff dirty clothes in one side and my rain coat, pillow and other soft items in the other. This utilizes all the space of the bags and helps maintain their form while riding. Cheers, RK from Germany

Hello. Thanks for watching. I am sorry but i have to disagree with you. Of course comparing them to Amazon prices they are going to be more expensive. But compared to other top brands such as Tailfin and Old Man Mountain they are much more affordable by a long shot. As for Amazon gear. Sure every once in awhile you come across decent stuff. But I have toured with enough people who have tried to save money by going this route only to see them fail. I would rather buy gear that lasts for years not months. Over 5 years with these bags and by the looks of things I'll get another 5 out of them. Thanks for the comment. All the best.

@@WanderingEyeOutdoorAdventures Sure, XTR brakes are also a basement bargain if you compare them to Hope, Sram Maven or Trickstuff. I personally run XT. I tend to apply the law of diminishing returns when it comes to items that I don’t use every day. As long as the bags stay waterproof, I’d rather invest the savings in something like an expensive set of wheels.

Great information, I would think you could put the solo stove in the solo pot and your canister should fit just fine in your jet boil, I feel like it might distribute your weight a little bit better and allow you to have more room for other items

Hello. Thanks for watching. Unfortunately that is not possible as the burner for the stove detaches and goes in the Jetboil pot. Cheers
