My plan is to raid as "fury / prot", but I don't want to build those talents until I have a good amount of hit in my dps gear and a decent tanking set to swap to. What I'm unsure about is what spec do I use to get to that point? I originally wanted to just go full Prot and be a super beefy tank with a big shield, but it seems like no warriors do that

I got a couple questions. First, do you think it's worth it to run Mara or ST for gear, or would it be kind of a waste of time considering you could do BRD a couple levels later? 2nd, is it practical to try to gear up for tanking AND dps or is it better once you hit BRD levels to pick one and focus on it?

I think that if you're going for the best gear, it would probably be worth it to run Mara. I despise ST, so I have a hard time seeing any benefit to running it tbh. Definitely try to get both tank and dps gear if possible, but be mindful of party members. If you're not tanking, don't need on tank loot if the tank does. And if tanking, make sure to let dps know upfront if you plan to roll on dps gear.

No, the crossbow is prebis and arguably better than Blastershot launcher and Striker's Mark with the ZG world buff.

The bow or crossbow with 1% hit chance is better since warriors has extra hard to reach that hitcap. So I would go with Ice barbed spear since that will help you more to grind that last levels between 51 and 60.

@@lfgubrs warriors dont need to hit cap to be successful, heroic strike queuing is a thing which makes your OH always land so you need 9% hit to be capped but only 6% if u have a special weapon skill racial

Elevated Redd HS queueing is a really high level technique that results in a minimal dos increase if done correctly, and results in a dps loss if done incorrectly, and it’s pretty easy to fuck up. Best just to get the hit gear and focus on doing your normal skill rotation for dos.

Lvl 80 is just getting geared for HC Dungeons, farming emblems of triumph and frost emblems, buy T9 and 245ilvl gear, then start do the raids you can get into. I managed to get 5500GS on my hunter in just one reset but I was very lucky with drops and rolls.
