Have a 91 LX 5.0 with 98,000. All original... Red, white interior, white top. Wish I had someone in KCMO who is as good as Doc Fox. He is an amazing resource and I am so jealous. Great video.

Great video once again Matt it's pretty cool to see everything that Matt goes over there's some things that I have never even thought about checking and it just blows my mind sometimes it's like when I got my car it had sat for 7 years and in overheated cuz the fan clutch went bad it leaked water when it was cold after a couple times of driving it between the block and the timing cover and a little bit at the water pump it's crazy how weather and sitting eats up the car is almost worse like Matt was saying makes bearings freeze all kinds of stuff... just caught up on a couple videos that I didn't get to finish all the way through but I watched them all this past weekend and today!!!

I have the same issue with my parking brake handle causing the torn boot as well. Unfortunately a new assembly is $350.

Man reminds me so much of my 91 LX Vert. Clean but with some work needed. What sucks is it’s a original car but it won’t be anymore after these parts are replaced. Matt might have some of them NOS. Which will cost 3-4 times more than the local parts store parts. Not sure if he has all these parts though. That’s the issues I had with mine. I have a long list of parts that have been replaced on mine because of being worn out. Have my 1990 date coded wires which I took off too doing a tune up. But it was a little disappointing having to replace these oem parts but what could I do? Mine got 100k on her too.

Yeah that's the problem for sure. The NOS stuff is great but definitely way more expensive. It's so sad when you have to remove the date coded wires, but at least you still have yours. Nothing you could do for sure buddy.

Not sure, the subscriber did have the numbers correct, there were more automatics than manuals produced that year, I don’t know what the current going value is, but you can look at the triple white fox website and see what ones have gone for in the past, not sure how accurate it is today.

i used underdrive pulleys on my car .....just on water pump alternator and crank .....of course typical underdrive bigger alternator and water pump smaller crank ....my car instantly overheats in traffic threw town .... so i put the bigger crank pulley on and left the bigger underdrives on my alternator and water pump ....guess you could say my alternator and water pump are a bit overdriven now....no more running hot in traffic and my alternator never drops to 10 volts no more ....lol...

It's more that it's a summer feature car. There was also Yellow and Red and they had different spoilers and interior, few other things as well. Triple black is cool, but not a feature car.

Not to mention all of the specialty items, such as the door armrests that you can’t get in white anywhere as far as I can find. I would love to find an original set of floor mats for mine, that’s probably going to be a search that will end up yielding nothing or it will take years to find.
