didnt even watch the video yet, so maybe you end up doing this (classic clobzz comment) but make sure when gearing your other characters to not forget weapons! since youre doing endless spires with your squire, if you open the chests on him youll get only swords, your ev needs guns and staffs while your monk needs spears (and hermit too) edit: okay you do end up doing this, my man, he learns so fast

08:10 - EV can use apprentice and huntress weapons... staffs and guns... Jester can use everything Also hit X to swap between the weapons(you figured this out) Also also you can turn off screen shake in options. Also also also you can change ythe 1-0 hotkeys on the fly by just huvoring over something in the hero wheel and holding the number you want to change it to. 11:47 - DD1 PVP is aweful, haha. Very unbalanced unless you somehow have the same level and the same gear with the same hero type of deal. Unless you can block, an adept purity bomb will always kill you XD

11:35 - the weapons you’re using are actually apprentice weapons! As you figured out, they have a couple of special gimmicks. Holding left clicks charges a shot, holding right click charges an AOE blast, and holding them together charges a blast to 70% (ish?) and fires it continuously (without having to keep pressing). That last point is important because it scales directly with the stat known as “charge time.” The higher the charge time stat, the less time it takes to charge to 70% and fire (aka much more DPS!!). So, for a dps staff, it’s recommended to cap charge time, then number of projectiles, then projectile speed, then damage. You can certainly make a respectable dps ev that uses a staff as normal, but it’s usually much better to rely on the proton blast ability, in which case the only thing that matters is the damage of the weapon (and what weapon you are using, some scale much better than others). Dps Evs are really only useful in the late game, so I wouldn’t worry about this for now (provided you were considering it).

Also, for where you are (in terms of progression), the EV (imo) should have the highest stats out of all your builders. This is because her buff beams directly affect ALL other heros versus just one. Additionally, because your ev stats are still relatively low, it will scale MUCH better than it would in the mid-end game. Once your EV gets to 1.5-2k stats, it’s scaling REALLY falls of (it’s still very important). This, of course, does not mean you should neglect your other characters. Recap : it’s important to prioritize the EV stats early as it affects all other builders. This only applies until the EV scaling worsens, after which the ev is still vital, but should be on the same level as your other heros :)

so for the ev, the most important tower is the buff beam, which benefits from every single tower stat, however, you really only care about tower damage, as rate and range scale like literal shit past like 1k stat, tdmg also scales like shit but it scales better and is the main reason you use buff beams, for buffing damage mostly, hp would be the second most important stat in case you use walls (which isnt often but its nice to have it), reflects are also super important and stats literally do not matter in the slightest on those, now im not gonna tell you not to use protons and shock beams but bear in mind they wont be particularly useful later, but of course you can do whatever you want :)

If you want just armor to drop if you swap to the summoner you'll only get armor drops since he can't use weapons!
