Here's my thoughts what would your opinion be on a starting out photographer with good skills but on a very limited budget. I currently am rocking a Sony A7IV and I have a 70 to 200 GM Mark 1, and a Sony 200 to 600 G lens. I used to own a 24 to 70 GM Mark II but I just didn't really use it that much so it was collecting dust sitting in my camera bag so I ended up trading it for the 200 to 600 lens. I've been contemplating picking up a 50mm 1.4 or 1.2 depending on if I can scour up the money somehow. But I don't know if I should go back to getting a 24 to 70 or if I should look for a different lens altogether I mainly do car photography but I haven't had the opportunity to do roll shots, everything so far has just been purely still shots. I would like to be able to venture into other genres of car photography. But if you could only pick one lens what would you recommend given my situation with what I already have

Hi, Robert! Understanding advanced concepts is easier when you understand that basics. If you're new to photography or just need a refresher, our "EOS 101" series here on KZbin is the perfect crash course to get it done. Check it out at canon.us/l3r4 Hope this helps!

Aloha Larry... and our favorite Latin lurker, et al., I am also interested in the support gear... lights, flashes, and especially the light wands for light painting); tripods (maybe); monopods (for sure, I image for those monster lenses)... I'll never be able to afford anything like what you have... but I'm encouraged that we think alike - my favorite lenses are my Canon 200mm, 2.8; and my Canon 18~135mm, 3.5. * * * I'll go looking on your site... this is the first time I've run across your channel. It appears I'll be back often for advice, viewpoints, and educating myself. * * * Until that time. . .
