Great video! Btw your intuition was right with that last hole you went down, you can definitely do the duck under when you drop into that pit. I understand not trusting that there is a way out though!

Thanks as always for watching and the comment :) Yes I think that will be the way forward, Helps tell the story a little more, especially since I suck at voice overs haha

One of my fav canyons! I just got a 360 camera so interesting to see it works quite well in canyons. Never considered head mounting the camera like that, i was planning to just swing that 3m selfie stick around! I assume you do single lens mode that way or you have a lovely view of a helmet on the other lens. Want to do Claustral with it. Would look stunning.

It’s a stunner isn’t it, Tried the pole once and it was ok but a little annoying and harder to capture the abseils ect. With it on the helmet and shooting in 360 you just capture everything and edit in post (it is time consuming thought) Make sure you get lens guards, it’s an absolute must! Or else they will get scratched with the slightest bit of a rock and are a massive pain to replace

@@JakeMarcin With it on the helmet, you definitely project a unicorn look! I presume its just a regular Gopro stick on mount and adapter. The lens guard and waterproof case is in the post so cant wait to play around with it this canyoning season. Hope to see more of your adventures!

Using my wife's account. A lot more kit and a lot more abseils (we did 3 counting the one to get in) than when I first did it 35 years ago. Keep having fun guys.

That must have been a great adventure back then! There was a few where we could have scrambled but I’m a sucker for an abseil Thanks for watching and commenting

Looks awesome, im assuming this is Whungee Wheengee Canyon? I havn't done it myself but looking at the track notes it seems to fit. Good to see you do it, has inspired me to go out and have a go at it. I didn't quite catch in the video how long the whole thing took, 7 hr? was that time in canyon or car to car? Great videos, keep it up.
@JakeMarcin Жыл бұрын
Yep thats the one! It was about 7hrs 40min car to car, Hike in about 2hrs, canyon about 4hrs and then the hike out the rest, Can certainly be done faster in canyon but its to beautiful to rush, A car shuffle can save some time on the hike out which we didnt do Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip, its a must do!
