Was so happy to see State of Decay 3 didn't get quiet cancelled, seems like forever since I'd heard from it. SoD2 is suuuuch a good, fun, comfy game single or multiplayer and the tension of the threat never really fades, you're always in danger...just maybe less.

I wasn’t expecting a prequel for Gears of War but I can’t say I’m mad in this world, there’s a lot of potential to be exploited in such a setting, the COG and the UIR’s final battles and then their peace treaty being signed, humanity finally relaxing for a fleeting moment only to then get absolutely shocked and butchered, UIR politics and culture being seen instead of just spoken about, the Gorasni that managed to survive E-Day making an exodus from their Republic, etc. Eager to know the release date, it’s been quite a while so I wish for this to come out ASAP, I’ve missed fighting the Locust and our OG crew, plus, we could finally get to see the fourth Carmine brother!

@@Ktsjay187 i don't know about you, but when i go to play a game at like 30fps after playing other games for a while I'll notice the frame rate and it'll take me a while to get used to it, but i will get used to it because it's a constant thing. With this the gameplay will be smooth, then the cutscenes will play and it'll break the immersion because i won't be used to the lesser fps. If the gameplay matched the cutscene fps i'd be more fine

I really wish she'd boost her voice far more. TV or mobile, even with headphones, it's so often too low. People don't pick hosted streams to mostly listen to the actual feed, they're there for the host's commentary. Aside from that, the show was good. Very worried about Dragon Age, though. 'Veilguard' looked more cartoony than DA's ever been, and, I dunno, it almost looked like a shitty co-op experience instead of a true SP entry. They surely wouldn't do that after such an absence. I hope I'm wrong.

Some really great trailers in this. DOOM looked dope as hell, Indiana Jones looks interesting, Gears E Day is intriguing (even if I really want a follow up to Gears 5). A bunch of cool looking new IPs too, a lot of souls-likes, but I'm very much okay with that :P Fable and Dragon Age I'm worried about though. The tone of the DA trailer was a little weird, and too cartoony. And then Fable wasn't cartoony enough, and really need some actual gameplay. Haven't seen any hint about a karma system or character customization, I don't want to play as the character in the trailers.

They're clearly referencing a karma system tied to your actions and choices. We just don't know how it affects anything yet Don't know about customization, but they haven't really characterized the character in the trailer ever. Always "heroes" and what they're like. I think it very likely that there will be character choices of some sort.

Expedition 33 and Perfect Dark were definitely highlights for me. I'm STOKED for SF content and Avowed is still my most anticipated game currently, but in terms of "new stuff" those two looked stunning. Fable looked great too but I'm still cautious about it cause I didn't love the original ones.

I overall was really hyped for everything in the showcase but Phil, Matt, and Sarah standing up there talking about how excited they are for all these studios making great games was just ugh. Tango and Arkane Austin both made award-winning, exciting, amazing games as well but now they don't exist... 23:20 No it really doesn't. This is NOT Dragon Age. Dragon Age is supposed to be dark and gritty, not a crossbreed between Fortnite, Fable and Overwatch. The graphics don't match at all, the music choice is horrible, the way the characters are presented is like it is a hero looter shooter live service crap and as the likewise atrocious gameplay reveal has shown it is a dumb action game now instead of the tactical game Dragon Age should be. It looked like as we even can't switch between party members anymore. This is not Dragon Age, this is an abomination. WoW on console wouldn't work. Controllers are not up for the task so they would have to release a console with a port for mouse & keyboard first.

@@KilliK69 I have and it wasn't any better. The gameplay is horrible and has nothing to do with Dragon Age. It's a stupid action game now instead of an actual RPG with tactical combat. From what we saw it's not even possible to switch between party members anymore which was a key componant of DA combat. This game is s....ing all over the fanbase and what Dragon Age should be like.

Tactical pausing is still a thing where you can switch between members and queue attacks and what not, the only difference being you can’t directly control them outside of that.
