the idea behind the gunblade, i think, was not to shoot bullets from it. you shoot blanks from it, and the vibrations make the hit more powerful (which of course would not actually work). there's no barrel, just a hammer and trigger to fire the blank

You've had the conversation about gunblade before, and I'll repeat what I said then. The Gunblade doesn't have a barrel. Instead, the blast is meant to vibrate the sword and heat it while it is still slashing into the enemy, increasing the damage considerably. But to do so requires precise timing.

Think of throwing a ball then in the last few seconds of throwing the ball, you managed to increase the velocity of the motion of throwing the ball to make it go faster. The whole thing of the gunblade wasn't to shoot stuff but to use the vibrations of the shot to increase the power of the slash. At least in squalls case, if their talking lightings gunblade then that one is pretty self explanatory

With 1080i being 2 different interlace frames playing almost at the same time, and 1080p showing 1 single frame at once with no interlacing. ALSO, 4k = 4096 × 2160 while UHD = 3840 × 2160

This must of been recorded ages ago as the reason FF7 remake is episodic is because the dev wants to put as much of the original in the remake, if he did it all on one disk it would use up a lot of memory and he would have to remove parts of the original game which he has said on his blog that he does not want to do that, he wants to keep the remake as close to the original as he possibly can, also the Platinum demo for FF15 is set in a dream world which was pretty much explained at the start of the demo.

Pistol swords were a thing in real life, back when pistols were one-shot. You draw your weapon and shoot a guy with the small pistol part of the gun. If he doesn't go down (possibly because of a miss) or there is more than one guy, you fought with your sword. I don't think they had much popularity, but some people thought it was cool.

I think the FF7 remake will be episodic simply because of the sheer amount of time it would take to complete the entire remake vs. releasing the content in episodes. I don't think it's about money, but about time, they just want to release as fas as possible, and with episodic releases they'll keep the interest ongoing for a long time.

Ehhh Acchully *Pushes glasses up nose* The Gunblade never fired a projectile, the round fired went straight into the back of the blade, making it vibrate at high frequency to cut stuff better, this is why it never had a projectile attack. Unless we're talking FFXIII, in which case, yeah, it was a machine gun which turned into a sword.
