Not just the nostalgia but in my opinion 2 was the greatest shooter of all time. Best campaign and multiplayer, it’s only flaw was the online multiplayer connections sucked back then. Now with dedicated servers the game will be perfection

Honestly if we don’t get the collection then I’d call it quits with Gears as a whole. The past decade just hasn’t been the same for me, I can’t seem to have the same fun I did while playing the original trilogy.

I’m being greedy but I really hope if we get the gears collection we can toggle between old and new graphics like in master chief collection. Including in multiplayer/horde, Would make my heart so happy ❤️

@@rossrobson91 they did such a great job with that game though, it’s felt exactly like gears 1 but with better graphics. They nailed it, last couple games, movement just isn’t the same and they added way to many weapons, it’s just not gears to me anymore

If it’s real It’s not going to PlayStation. Insiders have been wrong on the topic Xbox games going multiplat all year. Ceo of Microsoft gaming Phil spencer said 3 things in the business event upset people just ignore 1. “Not a change to out exclusive strategy” in reference to the 4 games that did go 2. “When we don’t damage Xbox” in response to how they approach growing Xbox 3. “Just 4 games, so if you’re on the other platforms and you s these 4 games, please don’t take this as some type of signal that everything is coming, because it’s not” directly confirming all games are not going End of story. We need to stop believing “journalists” and “insiders” most of which are just regular content creators with a huge following or they happen to speak to the occasional Xbox employee because they used to interact with damn near everybody. If it’s not from Xbox themselves or somebody that works with them directly, like JD fenix’s voice actor then it’s not credible

It's called the "Xbox Games" Showcase, not Xbox "Games Showcase". I'm fairly certain they're officially announcing their plans to go third party, with a Gears collection coming to Xbox, PS5 and PC this holiday, and Gears 6 coming next year multiplat. On a side-note, we'll probably also get MCC on PS5 next year at some point.
