Gears 3 will forever be my favorite. The movement and gameplay was the absolute best. I hope we can return to that with EDay. I also don't understand coalition not asking Cliffy B for consulting just because it wouldnt hurt. Especially after the failure of gears 5.

See, the concern though is The first three were simply a masterpiece. And with that said, they were developed and made by Epic Games. As stoked as I am for E-Day, but it’s developed from The Coalition. The same company that developed Gears 4 & 5, which was complete and utter trash. In fact, they were a disgrace to the franchise. So, since Cliff and Epic Games are no longer involved.. I am concerned that E-Day will be garbage.

But, it still remains the real fact of the matter that WHO was responsible for such the masterpiece The original trilogy was and to this day STILL IS the best Gears’ games, are NO LONGER involved with Gears Of War. So, to elaborate - it does not matter who was ‘fired or who retired,’ either. The Legend himself; Cliff and the awesome company, Epic is not involved. That’s my point.

Um The Coalition have made it clear that they were listening to the fans this time there’s nothing in the E-Day Trailer that looks like it’s going to be Garbage they included the Mad World theme in the background with Marcus Struggling fighting that locust Drone that trailer gave me Nostalgia and I Agree with you about Gears 4 and 5 they weren’t that good games because of Rod but the E-Day Trailer looks promising you had Marcus and Dom looking over the City in kaos and Mad World in the ❤Trailer I don’t get how your Going be upset you People and your Sceptic agenda that always get to worked up wait to see more game footage before your get all Negative.

@@iKiIIedThePromQueen many gears 5 devs announced their retirement on twitch streams a few years back. Rod Ferguson who basically directed gears 1-5 basically left the coalition to work on diablo 4 for another company. From what I saw in the e-day trailer the current team seems to know what they are doing with the franchise especially with the return of the darker themes and stuff.

Cliff was slowly pushed out of the Gears team because he was trying to keep Gears original on one hand but coming up with odd ideas like the picture on the other hand, he was being indecisive and really didn’t have plans for the franchise after 3 lol, then not just him but EPIC games moved onto abortnite so no it wasn’t Cliff who abandoned it they abandoned him, same kinda goes for Hideo Kojima.
