Hmmmmmm.... Interesting question. I've never used an external memory card. I know you can import samples to the RC50 using USB, but I'm not sure how that effects the over all sample time. I just plug my drum machine into the RC50 and take samples that way. It chews away at my overall memory though. If I did it in mono, I'd get twice as much sample time.. someday I'll get around to doing that. Sorry I can't fully answer your question. I do think you'll enjoy the RC50. Take care & keep in touch.

Great question. To the best of my knowledge, I would simply go from the 2 1/4 inch outputs on the gt.10 to the 2 1/4 inch inputs on the RC50. Plug your guitar into the gt.10, and control your master volume on the RC50. I'm positive this will work, but if not, hit me back. I'm happy to help.

The only effect (besides looping) is 'reverse.' It's easy to run another effect processor through the RC50 though.

Hi does anyone have problems with their rc 50 lagging a second when looping? I want it to start the loop on the first note but it always starts a note late, i dont understand.

I come from 4 years in the future since I just got this-- the MIDI sync feature works great with my Alesis Micron, but I read EVERYWHERE including here, that it's not useable. Just letting you know if you set an Alesis to the master and set the tempos the same, your loops will never go out of sync

No Problem, this'll work. I use the RC in combination with the Electribe and sometimes with ableton as well. Try to use the loopstation as master for MIDI sync.

Actually, there's a cable for it. I have an usb cable that has one side regular-usb and the other one is a big, square usb. I used for conecting my scanner, but know I used with a GT-10B

I don't know, but maybe the tracks need additional files to be played. I've read something like that about the RC-30. Maybe you can try to add the songs using the aux in... but, I really don't know.

Hi, have you experienced a 'peaking' problem when adding analog pedals before the looper? I've limited the levels of my pedals to just bout 9 o'clock but it still peaks.

I'm unable to add loops onto the RC-50 . dont know why. i've change the extension to .WAV and got the numbers right... but it just doesn;t seem to add loops/ wav files through. i'm able to delete stuff.. but unable to add stuff.. can anyone help?? please.

@SmallFish616 The Boomerang III Phrase sampler has four loops and overall, it has more looping features but there are other nice things about the Boss. Rthymns, more inputs and outputs, and it has enough buttons. The boomerang is extremely "cryptic" and difficult to use on the fly. and there is kinda no queing of recording tracks. Kinda sucks but I still like the boomerang more.

J'en ai une depuis 15 jours achetée occasion 250 euros. Il y a 5 rythmes dedans puis il ne reste que 21 minutes de mémoire. Sur le CD il y a ces 5 rythmes (genre arrangeur avec basse batterie guitare saturée...) et des fichiers waves (applaudissements oiseaux, bruitages divers, quelques notes de basses ou percu) ces fichiers ont une durée de 2 à 5 secondes chacun... Il y a des rythmes de batterie (non numérotés donc pour les trouver assez vite il faut savoir où ils se trouvent...

I know you can prerecord loops, but imho it seems to difficult to use. Is this possible to use RC-50 with FCB1010 for example? (how) So I would be able assign different loops/phrases (prerecorded) to this midicontroller from 1 to 10 and play them like I want. Not just phrases 1-3 from RC. THanks

has anyone noticed that this looper wont catch and you have to play for another second when you lay down your first loop unless of of course ur first loop is silence with just the drums (which I never use) Please message me about this

unfortunately the midi sync sucks. In theory you could use an external midi clock. But when you use it, the tempo's start drifting a part after some minutes. Using the RC-50 as the master clock works better though

i have never been able to use the MIDI Sync on this either.. I have tried with mainly with hardware (drum machines).... any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking of selling this if I can't get it to work (it's been years!!!) am i missing something?

Most all loopers work that way. You just have to compensate.

"Tap tempo, you can change the speed of a phrase after you've recorded it" - Ya, technically you can, but its definitely not musical or useable... Even a change of 1 BPM causes severe warbling of the recorded loop. MIDI sync to other devices (ie ableton live) is not useable.... And I don't know if it is a common problem, but I have a noise issue (a hum) when using both the main output, and sub output at the same time.. Other than those issues, it's a great pedal, and a wonderful writing tool.
