I think you’ll like them, I’ll do more demos with them! There’s a slight learning curve, but once you get over it they are really nice to work with, especially with the right brushes. I use the Princeton Catalyst brushes and it’s wonderful to work with, especially with the Open acrylics! You can find them in my description.

@@GebahiArtworks That sounds really cool. I appreciate any tutorial videos you have time to produce thank you !! And thanks for the very good tip on the brushes. I have learned how important it is to find the right kind of brushes for the particular paint being used. 🎨

i am so appreciative of you taking the time to share so many tips and info. with us, about these paints.. I mainly work with gouache, and watercolors , and I just bought a starter set of these because they seem like such a nice transition for me , as I do not want to work with oils, at this time.. I have also been playing with acryl gouache, and was so surprised at how much I love them!! So many toys, so little time.. Anyway thank you so much!!! Norakag, here

Thank you, Gebahi, a great Tutorial again, I am getting a better idea of loose painting. I tend to paint 🎨 too much detail, so watching your videos is teaching me looseness. 🙂

I loved this video. It seemed like too complex for me to try this kind of theme, but you go forward in such a clear and well-paced way, that this now feels within reach. You also have hesitations and change your mind and all those things at varius moments, so it makes it feel much more approachable as a hobby overall. "I never knew I was going to be an artist some day!"

Yes, definitely worth a try! There’s.a slight learning curve, but once past it, it’s pretty nice to work with! The trick is like working with oil’s, and let the layers dry between stages so that it’s not tacky when you lay the subsequent layers, otherwise your paint is going to drag and skip!

If you were painting en plein air would the painting be dry when you want to pack up or how would you carry it?
@GebahiArtworks
@GebahiArtworks 3 ай бұрын
If you’re using Open Acrylics it should be dry before you leave depending on how thick the paint was applied! Otherwise Golden sells a drying agent, or you can mix it with regular Golden heavy body paints to dry faster. Or you can mix Open Acrylics with any other heavy body acrylic to dry faster. Otherwise carry it flat to the car.
