I did not know brook can move things to the trash and is not considered "KO" effect. That's new to me and changes everything. My friends been spamming Sabos thinking theyre safe the entire time.

The Geckos I run into as Perona seem to usually just spam a 4 cost like absalom or perona out the trash. Even if they can’t use the effect of Absalom every time the Perona runs out of 4 costs or x drakes to pop the bodies whereas Gecko can keep up the recursion pretty easy so by the time she gets to 10 its like Kata w the Big Moms its just not safe to drop anymore.

I tried to do just that but every turn he removed the card with some play of ryuma or big attack or gecko into ryuma :(

Same boat. I feel like it is pretty 50/50 depending which cards the players see. Sometimes Perona can keep clearing the 4 costs, but Moria can then bring them back and clear your board right back with the right cost reduction combo.

Could have played hogback with leader at the end and just take a 2k back in hand, if he can’t deal with the body you actually win

I could have yeah but also could have dealt with it by resting it with leader ability:) it would have been the same result when I was thinking about it

On the second to last turn why not play hogback off leader effect and add the perona back

Because I'd have to trash an already existing Perona in my hand haha. I would have developed a body but it wouldn't have done me any good

No so I had just played sabo before KOing ryuma specifically so that it wouldn't KO something

I don't think swinging with Hogback and Moria leader on your 9 don turn, when you know he had a 10c Doffy was the right play. You removed his Moria and had 4 attackers the next turn. Sure, your opponent can rest Hogback or Lucci and play Doffy but you still have 3 attackers left. Instead, 3 of your attackers got locked to rest and you lost out on using leader ability. Just my 2 cents

Yeah probably wasn't the play. I could have blockered up that turn with sabo and then just pass. Lessons learned :)

wait at 5:25 you play lucci and tsuru rested, but you use tsuru ability before lucci? i thought it had to be in order played.

You can choose the order of simultaneous activations. Same thing with birdcage + Diamante to save the Diamante from birdcage.

When you play 8c Moria the order is select one active, and one rested. Once you have both characters on board, you select what abilities go first. Therefore he chose tsuru and then luccis effect

So with Morias effect you play one active and one rested of your choosing. Once they are on the board you actually choose which effect you'd like to play out first then the second effect takes place
