Oh my gosh, I resemble that remark! I too have been a Rushian for about 40 years. I am so proud to be a Rush fan. Being a 57 year old woman, I usually get surprised looks from guys when I wear my Rush gear😂 There will never be another band like them. Great human beings!

Being Canadian has alot to do with it. I also grew up in the 60s and 70s and being considerate to your friends and family and even strangers was expected. Our neighbours were Chinese, Hungarian, Scottish, Polish, Italian and it was great. The parents of our friends were always inviting us around to try their food and hang out with them and they would celebrate Canada day as passionately as we did. Geddy, Neil and Alex are typical Canadians but with unique talent of course.

I love Geddy's story about being bothered in the restroom. Some people who would ask for autograph like that have no class. In an interview I saw with Paul Newman, Newman said he had a fan bother him for an autograph in a restroom. Newman was at the urinal doing his business when a guy slapped a blank piece of paper on the wall in front of and above Newman's line of sight and asked for his signature on the spot. Newman stopped giving autographs permanently to everyone after that.
