Thank you for this tutorial! I successfully used my Stripology ruler to cut bias binding for a table runner & place mats after watching it! I was a bit perplexed on how to join the ends of the binding strips without wasting/recutting the ends. Could you make a part two to this video & show us how you join the bias cut strips together, as well as, how you join the ends on your quilt top to finish it? Many thanks!!

I have a stripology ruler coming in the mail, hopefully next week. I have all the materials I need to make a table runner and some matching placemats for a Christmas present. I have been watching all the Stripology ruler demo tutorials. I can hardly wait to start. Thank you Gudrun.

Love, love, this ruler......need bias binding today.....I'm following the measure twice cut once, only I'm watch the video 4 times, cut once 🤣🤣....the 2 1/4 threw me a bit since I cut 2 1/2, but this is so amazingly cool!!!!

Is it correct that after you "trued" up your edge, you didn't pull the fabric out to the quarter mark before making your first cuts. maybe you did & I didn't see it correctly? I don't want to mess up the first time I cut the binding! Thanks!

You don't until after you make your first cuts, then you remove the slivers, move the ruler and do your second cuts.

Is there a way to calculate how much fabric to cut? Say your quilt is 80" W x 90"L and you want to cut a 2-1/2" binding.
