GEDM vs 30mm steel - Cutting 30mm solid steel with DIY wire EDM is a challenge

Thanks. So far it is the smoothest arcing of all the cuts. With a very low forward setpoint it sounds like touching silk feels. Hard to describe but very soft. The slow speed sucks and higher currents are not possible with the .2mm wire. Need to get some .25mm wire.
