Well, today my Bellows Gill order showed up. I actually got them from a tackle supplier from back home. They had them for $8.47 a bag. So I got a 2.8 and a 3.8 version. I got plans for these babies!!! This spring it's on!!!!

Glad you showed these. I honestly just checked them out & really like the Gill better than the craw. I saw a guy using one but didn't catch anything but I fish different than he. Gotta get some 3.8 no doubt!!!

Great video! I bought a pack of the 3.8 gills in muddy gill after I saw @aquatic_biologist on your podcast, he had them on his Insta and they looked too good to pass up. The Doritos smell 🤣🤣🤣 My first thought was like sesame oil. Like a grainy/nutty oily. Haha, it's such a unique smell it has me talking crazy trying to describe it.

I have several of them in ALL the sizes and they don’t smell like Doritos. They smell like burnt popcorn with shrimp juice on them!! LOL 🤣🤣. I can’t wait to use them all!! I have the craws, Spiron tail, and they all look like they will kill it!!!

I have fishe Geecrack BellowsGills and Spirion for bed fishing... they are absolutely a huge sleeper bait that hardly anyone throws. They kill it bed fishing as well as skipping docks and letting them glide under the dock.

Been talking about these burlyyyyy 🔥 🔥 they work GREAT !! Texas rig, weightless. I even fish it like a jerkbait really erratic twitches then stop. 💥 Or just twitch twitch, swim a little get blown up!

Those gills should work well for bed fish. Even though I can’t really bed fish in PA, I’m going to pick some up because reasons..🤷🏻‍♂️ On a side note, these baits actually make Yamamoto Senkos now seem reasonably priced.

Tried a few times already. Only had one bite but missed the fish. Anyone else notice they have a unique smell? Thanks for videos. Edit: Ah you noticed the smell too. It sticks around for awhile. Used one multiple outings and still stinky. Got mine for 8.59 from Hammonds.

there not really expensive in my opinion an are really good drop shot baits an ned rigs but def catches fish an worth it an if u keep looking at jdm brands they make way better baits then pretty much any company that over here in the us in function an colors they don't make colors that are to catch the fisherman's eye but more for actually catching fish unlike American brands an 10 dollars isn't expensive at all I guess everyones expensive is different I think 13 an up for plastics is expensive an the scent is amino blend i'm pretty sure.

@@aaanglers tru like I say everyones expensive is different but I buy a lot of deps, megabass stuff an osp. Those can get expensive for the amount of plastics they give u. Like the 13 inch kincoo from deps only comes in a 4 pack for 14 dollars but are tough plastic but still expensive for 4 worms vs US brands that might come with 8 or 10. But u def need to try the deps scat if u can ur hands on a pack lol.

Be careful...JDM is a rabbit hole you’re going down. Also the money isn’t that crazy especially when you go into JDM products. Also those flatout work. I have the small drop shot and the larger profile one. They do tare easily though. I am sitting here in MI waiting for things to thaw

Haha I like to use the bigger one as a chatterbait trailer as it adds bulk without adding too much lift like craws do. Also if you want to try another cool JDM bait try the OSP Dolive SS Gill. Pretty cool bluegill imitator
