Angel is so so so so so so pretty. She is a sort of gorgeous that falls outside of the narrow parameters we have been taught to believe is beautiful... and that enhances how deeply I am struck by everything about her. Her poise. Her grace. Her everything. She's a different kind of beautiful than what has been touted and waved in front of us as the "only way to be" and without detracting from what is within those parameters, I celebrate how her her appearance expands what our world perceives as desirable, worthy, pleasing, ravishing. She glows. And you know what, to those out there that they insist they see a "plain-ness," to her, I agree with you. I see it. And yet I don't perceive that unrefined plain-ness to be a negative thing. Beauty is intended to be inclusive not exclusive and that is one thing that Angel is here to show us. She manages to be beautiful while also possessing features that are the opposite of those that society has been brainwashed into thinking are exclusively beautiful. Her appearance and her presence ask us to redefine outdated hierarchal ideas that limit us.

yes shes' very girl next door like but has a radiance that shows the kindheartedness of her character, hence why both arthur and lancelot were so besotted with her. she has the face of an angel, literally, a kind face. not this super glam porno look that's so popular these days. she looks like a maiden rather than a pornstar or a pinup

@msmorganwheeler the show seems to be called morgana and not merlin anymore... gwen doesnt have a lot of screetimes but i still LOVE her with all my heart. but its normal that lancelot and arthur are in love with her so i really dont know what are u talking about....( hum jealousy ....)

Loved the father figure of Gaius in the series. And he appears to be that way in real life. Very endearing quality. As far as Angel is concerned. I could never get into her character. I thought she was completely unbelievable as Guinevere, and not that great of an actress. Also, she and Bradley had 'zero' chemistry. From my perspective, Mithea and Arthur were a better match, and DID have chemistry. They should have had the woman who played Mithea, play Guinevere instead. I absolutely loved the series otherwise. What made it all work so completely was Colin Morgan and Bradley James. Would love to see them in a movie together.

@poufkimashoula In my opinion, if Gwen does cheat on Arthur, she doesnt deserve his love. I still think Gwen/Angel is quite plain.

Yes, she is very plain and average looking. And not a great actress to boot. Unconvincing character all the way around, in my perception anyway. And totally unbelievable that in the show the men find her a raving 'beauty'. Please. Yes, I'm sure she's a very nice, and lovely person. But it didn't make her right for the part.

Yeah she's maybe plain but the men,especially Arthur is in love with Gwen's character which he finds in no other girl. She's surely not the apex of beauty but is an awesome actress and her uniqueness got the men's attention. Gwen/Angel is not the finest in appearance but the producers weren't blind.She had something the other actresses didn't have and,she's beautiful too
