I didnt realise at all the 1st time I watched this through. To be fair to me, ive never really played WoW and when I did it was on a private server with a huge exp boost so I skipped more or less all the cutscenes and dialogue. I mustve not been paying attention the 2nd time I watched this. 3rd time I picked it up immediately. 3rd watch is what I'm on now. Rewatching their one shots after 6-9 months is a really good way to get a semi-fresh experience. Because it isnt part of the main campaign its crammed full of more content meaning your brain (or mine at the very least) doesnt retain the information of what happened like it would with the main campaign where you kind of have to.

Funny thing is Red Dragons in WoW are the complete opposite of Red Dragons in DnD. In WoW they're one of the friendliest dragon broods towards mortal races (since they're the brood designated to watch over the mortal races). If they'd have woken it and tried to talk to it, it may have actually offered to help them. Doesn't mean they won't lay the smack down when someone tries to steal from them though.

luketfer yeah, even then a red dragon would barely care about someone wanting a dagger, especially if that was all that was taken. They would definitely try to kill you if you took eggs or something directly related dragons. A black dragon would have been better, lore wise, they would prefer the earth more than red, and hate mortals even more

I think I know why it was a Red Dragon. In Hearthstone Kobolds and Catacombs mode one of the final bosses is a Red Dragon (and they're using boss characters from that mode). According to the opening dialogue it immediately brands you a thief however this could have been different if they'd have gone a different route due to the wonders of tabletop gaming. Liam's character during this one shot had to be in the top 3 or 10 best characters of all time, that was just pure gold every single time. I hope we see this personality in the new story, that would be great.

Liam as a D&D "Nico Bellic" was pure gold, and so damned funny (like when Travis plays Grog, or Sam plays Scanlan). Fingers crossed for Laura to play a "Jaina Proudmoore" badass sorcerer or wizard in the next campaign. Travis as a Paladin and Taliesin as a Life Cleric were very good fits.

Ok random question but are all the characters based on Hearthstone cards? Laura is clearly based on the Sorcerer's Apprentice card ("some day I'll be just like you!") and I swear Travis's character sounds a lot like one of the Argent tournament cards but hey that is probably just coincidence.
