Shane, I'm very disappointed and surprised that you did not mention the best feature of this light. The best feature of this light is that the LED bars are spaced farther apart in the middle and closer together on the ends which produced the BEST PAR FOOTPRINT that I have ever seen. NO DAM HOT SPOTIN THE MIDDLE. Every time I look at light videos testing various bar lights my thoughts always go to why are the engineers spacing the bars equally apart why not spread them in a way that you get even PAR reading on the ends and edges. I would like to shake this engineer's hand in designing this beast. WELL DONE. If I was designing a grow light I would also pack more LED's on the ends of the bar compared to the middle, I would also do this on quantum board light fixtures, sparsely populating the middle of the board with LED's, eliminating the hot spot, that way your edge buds would be just as large as your middle area buds. I have extra bar type lights on the edge and ends of my grow room to give me even PAR across the canopy, with this light they would be eliminated. This light is definitely worth consideration.
@thehydrosource
@thehydrosource 4 жыл бұрын
If you have multiple rows of leds and hang them high spacing the bars apart evenly is better.
@BoundForHell68
@BoundForHell68 4 жыл бұрын
@@thehydrosource Why would you want to hang any light high?. The closer the light is to the top of the canopy without burning or bleaching buds, the more penetration into the canopy. I hang lights so the highest PAR is 1000 to start, and raise it only if the plants start bleaching.

Thanks once again for sharing your knowledge and honest opinion. From a price point it seems like a great fixture however.....what kind of driver is used and how hard are the diodes being run? Usually these factors change when dropping to a lower cost fixture. Life expectancy will be reduced in some cases. MIGRO rocks👍🏻🌱

You can order it with different drivers.....just go on Alababa and talk to them....you can get it custom build. You wont get better value for money at this stage.

I have been using this light for about a year now. Oddly, using a Pulse Pro's spectrometer, the lowest detectable wavelength emitted by my (3500K) unit was 411nm or near-violet, even with "UV" on. It produced absolutely zero measurable UVA. Now, I realize this is one sensor on a multi-purpose "all in one" grow tool, but the same sensor measures substantial UVA @ 380nm just taking it outside, so I know the sensor detects it. Other than that one complaint (they could just have left "UVA" out) this is a SPECTACULAR light and runs very cool.

I disagree the market has hit a new standard with efficiency producing led. As a light company in this industry you have to be optimistic, the best light ever created was the Quantum boards 2 years ago now it’s spider bar leds. This may be the only great thing about 2020. Perfect for a hobbyist with a tent grows also perfect for warehouse and commercial I do both. There has never been 1 light that gives your canopy this great of coverage with high par values and good penetration. Why wouldn’t smart companies & business man switch to this until the next best thing is introduced?

@@getmoneygang7518 Disagree all you want....its all the same now...and done wrong imo. I designed the first full spectrum in white leds in 2010. There is no where else to go....thats an APEX. Only thing thats changed is led efficiency (total joke because leds are super efficient) IR is dumb...UV is in 10k and most companies use a single temp to say its full spectrum. Jokers. Im designing the next new thing now with a few great scientists. Fiber Optic grow lighting. I am the reason the industry is white leds....and Ill create the next big innovation. I actually study light....unlike the rest who buy what factory offers. Apex. Now itll be price wars and reputation. Also....your only speaking of marijuana. 5% of gardeners worldwide. How can I follow you I’m willing to learn and grow that’s what it’s all about to make my point. The next technology could make you a millionaire & me too. China Capitalizes off of Americans these lights cost 100$ to manufacture if that & some company charge upwards of 1300$. Large percentage of growers still use hps for this reason which come with high cost to run and cool. Whether it is lm301b or lm301h you are absolutely right this is where the industry standard is being set at. I love the progress led’s have made especially for growing Marijuana one of the most hardest finicky plants to grow.

Why ???? Whats so great about the array?? Sorry but the guy doesnt have a bit of consistancy in testing par measurements 799 lmfao there 399 on Alibaba i just built my own 8 bar 660 watt completely designed the layout ant the diaodes like color and brand. Learn enough about leds and dont forget each type of plant and even different genetics of the same plant will NOT all love the same spectrum. Say Florida vegitation vs Colorado well the lighting is just simply put NOT THE SAME lol. Optics do so much more for a light then Watts and different spectrum makes different plants happy. 2 places to learn would be nasa. 1981 NASA used the first grow light u guessed it its burple lmao. Seriously though NASA and Bruce bugbee of apogee lighting will explain things to the extent you will never claim to know krap about leds. Simply put a par meter counts 400 to 700 nm color lights well UV does a ton and by god far red n infa red have drastic effects on plants. For almost a grand id hope to have much more in features and options. red stretches and blue shrinks. UV kills mold germs bugs the res so much more to it than numbers. Take the light in video purchase 60 degree linear optics and almost double your par readings its not hard to grasp the fact were sold over priced junk n your boy Shane not testing every light with both meters displayed at the same time lmfao everyone does it. A black floor gives 20 to 30 more par than white....tent or no tent I mean seriously though. FYI the array is very smart its the first modular fixture ive seen that makes sense and looks well doing it. Check out sanja lighting. 600 1 watt leds per 4 ft bar driven at 25 Watts lol wanna play effecient and long lasting I doubt you'll find better. Besides dli is what your really wanting to learn about. How much is that array and whats it cover n watt draw?????? Grossyland on amazon uses the same all osram set up as 1000+lights. Just saying osram is the cats ass the diaode is its own optic. Lots to learn about spectrum and say how phosphorus effects a diaodes effeciency and you may change your mind never know. Hey Shane......send me an array so i can test it myself ill gladly send you the prototype I built. And you can use 2000 par indoor with no co2 just gotta be smarter than the light lol. Shhhh its a secret lollollol

I have talked with several people that own this light and they totally love them and said the fact that the diodes weren't entirely water proof didnt matter. Hey brother I know your a busy man but when you have some time can you take a look at the specs for the G8 c3 commercial grow light , retails for C$1700. Barely fits in a 4x4 2.8 ppfd , 1700 umol and they say a 5 ft penetration
@Des420
@Des420 3 жыл бұрын
Too much light for that space. 5 feet of penetration in a tent would be too intense at the top of the canopy, even running Co2. You'd have to dim the light considerably, so what's the point?

The leds have a spread of 25⁰. The bars are spaced for it so you don't have a hot spot in the center....the two outer bars on both sides are closer together than the center ones....thats why the super even spread. If you draw the spacing of the bars on paper and add lines for the 25⁰ spread feom each bar, you will see that the light will start to become even at about 10 to 12inch....and the readings will be pretty much the same above 24 inches.... its a 30cm layer of absolut even light spread roughly. If you go closer than 10 inch you'll have blind spots between the bars....
