Just got mine today!!! Loving the new meeples ... The wooden tree seems like it will indeed be sturdier and last a bit longer. Couple dings on mine but it assembled way easier, I thought, than the cardboard tree.

Bummer on the dings, but hopefully it's not noticeable. Did you already have the base game before? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. We haven't played with the Pearlbrook expansion yet - that's the plan for this weekend though! :D

@@GeekCityUSA I'm a theme guy so Everdell is pretty sweet in that regard. Really enjoy the gameplay and trying different strategies and combos. Favorite player count is three. If you and Robin are going to play 2p might I suggest "The Border" variant on BGG it really helps keep the meadow fresh and adds some urgency to getting particular cards you might need for your tableau.

@@ningaubleotse171 Thanks for the heads up on the variant, I think we'll check this out for sure. That's the one thing that we miss when we play 2 player is how quickly the Meadow could clear out. Have you seen the newest Kickstarter for the next 2 expansions? We backed it right away - this is one of those games that I think will remain a staple in our house for years to come, so I'm all for expansions. :D

Thanks for this video! The listing on Amazon has no helpful pictures of the product at all. I'm very impressed. The colors are bright and vibrant and it looks like a solid item that could be broken down after each game. I'll definitely check you out in the future.
