That was a thriller! The sheer scale of the evil army was on full display as it spread out across the map to fend off the outside Jedi forces. I've gotta say, the Jedi always seem to have too few fighters at times, then immediately have way more than needed in the end, such an illusion of the numbers. I thought at first that we could get an interesting story dynamic of having the Castle lost to the evil forces, having been defended valiantly but still lost. Then, the Jedi forces come in and reestablish control of the domain with a big grind thru the grounds and up the stairs as both sides end up in the reverse role, this time the last of the evil army resisting and failing to fend off the advancing Human side. Would've been an epic parallel, but alas, it never got to that point. Again, the point of contact seems to be the main advantage of the Jedi, as they mow down large numbers quickly, using a sort of twirl and cycle of fighters, making it seem that the front line is exerting itself continuously. This idea is enforced when looking at the edges. Usually, in a fight like this, you look to the edges to fall and a flank to become the crushing blow. The edges of the Jedi groups are especially weak, due to their strategy of fighting using cycles (they lose the ability to cycle if the front line becomes 1:5 or so point of contact). However, this is nerfed from the get to as the onset of the Jedi army usually spreads to a few rows along a border, and as they shred thru the initial point of contact, that draws more enemies into their center, rather than drawing attention to the edges.

The not-Jedi are different from every other melee unit in the game in that they do a huge amount of damage. Most melee units in the game don't hit very hard relative to their health pool, making them clashing cause the flanks upon flanks upon flanks that you pointed out. Not-Jedi do so much damage that against fragile melee units like Zombies their ranks just cut through them like a hot knife through butter. The only other melee units that are relatively comparable in terms of potential damage output are Werewolves and Trolls, but that's because they do AoE with their attacks. However these units generally don't end their attack animation fast enough to capitalize as by the time they can move again the enemy ranks have refilled in the hole they just made. Which again leads to flanks on flanks on flanks, though if we're being fair they don't mind being surrounded as much as the rest. It definitely is a much different dynamic for melee army against melee armies than the average.

At first glance i wondered how the evil army should enter Winterfell without siege equipment. Then i was upset because the doors were open. But then i understand both plans. The defenders blocked the gate simply with dead bodies while the attackers have the idea to pile them up to enter from above - clever!

Hahaha fr dude xD had a similar idea. They must have thought: Jeez, we indeed held them back for a while but look what happened by killing them.. Should've brought some c4, grenades or other explosives to disperse those mountains of corpses.

Some guards who are Special Forces and a few heroes that are several god-units in a defensible position is hard to overcome! But millions of zombies with their characteristic persistence nearly showed that in could be done. Tesla looking again as one of the higher level 'gods' for his efficiency of clearing out opponents and staying alive. It was weird seeing the John Wicks thinned out, and Cleopatra being the first to fall as usual. The Jedi saved the day, albeit I didn't think that they had a chance what with the 'green ghosts' shooting their green spectral bombs at them. I expected them to stall out by the time they reached Winterfell, but the zombies were pretty much depleted on that side as well by that time. Weird seeing that zombies somehow made it up those castle towers. The zombies made it to the castle walls, but the Special Forces fended them off, doubtlessly thanks to the remaining John Wicks and the distraction of the overall forces on that side due to the Jedi (and army at their back!) It's very likely that the firepower of the army had much and more to do with why the Jedi survived the Green Ghosts. I also wondered if the wall defenders would survive the green splash of the Green Ghosts' attack on far wall, but most of them came out just fine.

Consider giving the Army of the Dead some catapults for longer ranged fires. And cutting way back on the 'not-Jedi' knights, or at least setting them up in smaller units (as in lore). Seeing those two 'doom stacks' (a term from my tabletop wargaming days) of 'not-Jedi' knights develop I didn't see much chance for the Army of the Dead from the outset.

Remember General Grievous from Star Wars, turned his light saber into a spinning lawnmower/cutting blade? The Jedi, who can levitate objects, could do the same, and just MOW DOWN rows and rows of the enemy. Anyone who gets close to them, can be pushed back by the force. I say a few Jedi can mow down the enemy like grass and not one Jedi dies or even gets wounded.

These are some of the best and most actioned pack things I've seen in years. I have an 85 inch 4K HDR TV and watching them on that is nothing short of spectacular and you can't look away. Without even having gone through all of your videos and looked for it yet if you haven't done a season eight GoT undead versus humans and Dothraki to make it as realistic as season eighths crappy ending dead just curious how that would actually play out in a simulator but if you've already done it sick and I will watch it soon. Turning point was when the Jedis entered the battle. 2nd was when wave after wave of zombies fairly spaced left the attack on the castle for the jedis and army support. Evenly spaced was crucial cuz the jedis could increase their pace maximizing their killing potential and movement speed, turning defense into offense. When I saw the tanks in a flanking position on the right it was over. The zombies and evil forces can have the castle for a short time they won’t win the war.

Maybe see how the dark army does against a moat defended fort with bridges maybe the bodies of slain overcome the bridges allowing more to get across. Can also add aerial units maybe they ride fell beasts and its spitfires or P51s against them in the air and they attack ground units too. Could also add big troll units for heavy damage and defense breaking. More pikeman for ground units and maybe spike walls of timber. Could also add ship units. Lots of options to add. I love your videos keep up the good work.

I'd like to see more fortress sieges with or without a relief force coming to the rescue. Plus a more evenly matched defender vs attack force so we can't be certain of the outcome. For example if it's modern soldiers defending a fortress against zombies then there should be a ratio of at least 100 zombies to every soldier. I would like to see the defenders make use of choke points at the gates and parapets that are out of reach to the enemy, a little like what happened in this video only with a more balanced defender vs attacker situation. Placing the limited soldiers at key points around the fortress so that as a section is breached the enemy come under cross fire and have to pay to breach each subsequent section. Soldiers should also be assigned to defending the ramparts which lead to the parapets. Here i knew from the outset the Evil Army would lose. It would be more interesting if it was less easy to predict. My thanks for your effort here.
