You forgot H2Overdrive which was like an spiritual succesor of the original made by the same team. Also, if you want an extra challenge after beating the original Hydro Thunder.... Try the career mode exclusive to the PS1 version. You have to win all of the races of the game with one boat, without saving and without losing all of your money or you have to start all over again. The hardest challenge of the original game by far....

H2Overderdrive is better than all these games, maybe even the original Hydro Thunder. The only thing that is superior to H2Overdrive in Hydro Thunder is the track selection. Everything else in H2Overdrive is an improvement over Hydro Thunder. Both were made by the same developers. Hydro Thunder Hurricane is developed by people who didn't work on the original Hydro Thunder, but had the rights to the name. H2Overderdrive is made by the original developers of Hydro Thunder, but without the rights to use the Thunder name. They had to call it something different, even though it was developed by them.

Dude Artic Thunder on the actual arcade machine was amazing. The vibration from the seat, and then the machine blowing air in your face, making it feel like you are in the game. Too fuckin cool! Artic or Hydro are in my Top 10 best arcade games

The original Hydro Thunder to Hurricane was a short period of time (11 years) than Hurricane to today (14 years). That's crazy!

Zoomed here. Arctic thunder was the first arcade game I have ever played! I played it at the movie theater back when the movie “Guardians” was playing It was a cool Christmas movie I was like 7 at the time lol

Hydro Thunder hurricane was meant to be a "third game" after "Hydro Thunder 2" but Hydro Thunder 2 was cancelled unfortunately.

H2Overdrive is the successor made by raw thrills it’s good but just like all of raw thrills is limited by only having 5 courses (it may be 6 I can’t remember)

Hydro thunder just made me smile so much I use to love playing that game I had the ps1 I still have all my consoles I was born in 1995 but I use to play that game when I was sooo young I kinda had to force myself to be good I wasn’t that good when I first played but got the hang of it and that’s how my game obsession started I fucking love video games man 💯

I always wanted Hydro Thunder for the Dreamcast, but I got it for the PS1 instead. It's not bad for the PS1, It's just not the Dreamcast version. Hell, I would have settled the N64 version, but nope. I told everyone Dreamcast, if not that, then N64. Damn you grandma! You ruined Christmas! I still have it and play it from time to time. It's a great game. But I still want it for Dreamcast........ Hell, I can get it for Dreamcast and N64! Then I'll have them all!!!!
