Geeking Out at The Moog Store in Asheville, NC

The Moog Store in Asheville - and the factory where all Moog synthesizers and products are made. This is just the coolest place ever for a synthesizer music geek. Although I play mostly guitar on KZbin, I also play keyboards and have always wanted to own a Moog synth. So I'm pretty stoked about this discovery. This is how quality products are made... by a small group of trained/skilled workers. If there's a great demand... well they can wait. I'd rather wait a year to get a great quality product than have 100's available at any given time and it be massed produced by people who have to build a certain amount in a certain time frame to meet a preset quota.

Very cool video. I was waiting to see if any of the employees started to become afraid of a wild Tony on the loose in their facility :) I think the employee was surprised when he saw that you really could play the guitar well :) You should cut loose in Biltmore Estates sometimes with your GoPro...maybe bring your guitar as well :)
