Yesterday i found Scott Robert Lim livestream on a9iii and global shutter paired with sony speedlights. Have you tried them? Getting from speedlight more power than from dozens of ad400s. With just global shutter and perfect sync of sony speedlight.

@MarkusPix thats a trick. Almost no loses on global with sony flashes. As I understand.

There is no loss with non high speed sync which can be achieved with any camera. You capture everything the light can put out. No global shutter needed. But yes, global is convenient for higher shutter speeds.

Yes. But remember, you can only get so much power out of a speedlight. (like a Yugo in a Formula 1 race) but you will get more output than from HSS
