Since you guys don't know this information is for you and your family : The role of Ranveer Singh in this movie was dark, to get into this fully he isolated himself from others and went to an island for a few months alone to get the idea and feel of this role. It got to a point where it started affecting him off the camera and like as if the role stayed in him. He had to take medicines see the doctor and do anything possible to get that role out of himself and it shows on screen as well

The basic story of this movie Padmavaat is that Ranveer Singh Is Jallaludin Khilji, and he is a powerful, cruel and tyrant ruler and aims to rule the whole world. He advanced to the throne by marrying the princes of his kingdom and then killing his princes's father. While conquering most of the places and being unstoppable, he was admired by the beauty of Chittorgarh's Princes Rani Padmavaat, but the ruler of Chittorgarh was very powerful. The movie tells how the two most powerful rulers came to fight and Khilji won by cheating of course. Yeah, but in this dance he was assassinated by his nephew as he wanted to rule the kingdom and wanted to take revenge of his father's death from Khilji
