Dolph Lundgren has a Master's degree in chemical engineering. I know he is also like a 4th degree black belt in Kyokushin Karate and was actively competing in full contact fighting before he was a movie star

The special features on the DVD include bios for the main cast. Very educational.

I know in the Ultimate universe they also made the Punisher an ex Cop rather then ex military. Makes me wonder if they got some inspiration from this movie

I had to look up Mark Goldblatt after you guys mentioned him. He's mainly an editor with many great movie credits and some not so geat credits. He edited both Terminator films, The Howling and Howling II, True Lies, Nightbreed, Predator 2, The Last Boy Scout, X-Men the Last Stand, among many others. He's worked with some of the best directors from the past 30 years. His only other director credit was 1988s Dead Heat.

Expendables 2 does not take itself seriously. It's, in my opinion, the best of them.

The Underworlders (Project Cadmus runaways) lived in the sewers/subways in 90s Superman comics.

The movie happens to be on KZbin, so I in fact did watch this movie, and it was also my first time doing so. This is pretty decent, I liked it. This is also the first Punisher anything I've been exposed to. That's probably really strange.

This was the best Punisher movie. Come at me.

You're probably right. Actually, Death Wish was the best Punisher movie/story ever. Everything else is pale trash in comparison.

1. War zone 2. The Dolph one 3. The Thomas Jane one (couldn't stand it, so boring overall and the main lead was boring as Frank Castle) Best live action portrayal is season 2 of Daredevil though.

this is my first time watching this punisher movie and I like it. you should do the commentary on the other two great punisher movies. 2004 punisher is the best before the Netflix version

That movie was a pleasant surprise. Iffy acting and casting aside the actual plot is pretty punisher appropriate and the action is kinda good. the kidnapped children of the mob idea is kinda neat. Punisher stores work when his black and white code is challenged by unknown and surprising variables that blur those lines. I also think that Yakuza villain is genuinely terrifying. I wonder now we've had 3 different Punisher movies,with radically different stylings, what the Netflix series looks like, and how much influence the MAX imprint will have.

I could be wrong since I haven't read much The Punisher, but wasn't this early into The Punisher as a main character anti-hero in is own series with not much established lore or source material to pick from? Was there even an iconic villain to use when this movie went into production?

I have been noticing Cap drinking more Pepsi than Mountain Dew lately....what does it all mean?
@Geekvolution8 жыл бұрын
It's a conspiracy. There's been more Pepsi in the house than Mountain Dew the last couple weeks. I smell something sinister in the air.

A guy who gave BvS a negative review was seen drinking Pepsi, and not Mountain Dew. Therefore, there's a conspiracy. I've caught you.

Ok, last comment I promise. According to KnifeUp.com, it is illegal to own a Throwing Star in the state of Kansas. "A throwing star is defined by Kansas statute as “any instrument, without handles, consisting of a metal plate having three or more radiating points with one or more sharp edges and designed in the shape of a polygon, trefoil, cross, star, diamond or other geometric shape, manufactured for use as a weapon for throwing.” So you may be safe and legal Captain if your shurikens are display pieces not intended to be used as a weapon. I don't live in Kansas and I'm not a lawyer, so you might want to look that up. www.knifeup.com/kansas-knife-laws/

I love that move!! I didn't like any of the other Punisher movies. Dolph is awesome like Arnold Swarzenneger and Van Damme. It is very alfred Hitchcock and just so Indie. Dolph is a genius.
