Yellowjacket is Corey Stoll. Blob is Kevin Durand.

It says he is in Canadian territory in the beginning. Which is funny because that did not exist in the year they say it is.
@ConnerNielsen68 жыл бұрын
Kevin Durand plays Blob here (Cory Stoll played Yellow Jacket in Ant-Man and was on the first season of House of Cards), you may also recognize him as Martin Keamy from Lost, acting alongside Dominic Monaghan who played Charlie from Lost. Hey, Evangeline Lily plays Hope in Ant-Man and she was Kate on Lost; not to mention Ken Leung who played that porcupine dude in X3 was also on Lost. You guys should add "Lost Alums" to the board.

The bad CG claws was due to studio interference, apparently a producer would walk onto sets and demand they repaint whole scenes, so they had to reshoot a lot and didn't have time to redo the claws perfectly.

To be fair, technically by that point of time when Wolverine was a kid, their was no Canada at all it was still under control of the British Empire, and didn't become independent until sometime after World War 1, so technically by that point of time Wolverine is British.

I think that drink hit Eric more than he thought. The guy who plays Blob is character actor Kevin Durand. The actor from Ant-Man and House of Cards is Corey Stoll.

In regards to X2's flashbacks, it's heavily implied that his memories are erased during the procedure as well, which could explain why he's horrified by the claws. The claws being covered in blood (which, he's entirely covered in blood from head to toe as well) could easily just be explained by the fact that it's from fighting his way out. Another thing I absolutely loathe about the adamantium bonding process scene in this movie is that the entire procedure doesn't make a lick of sense if it's just kind of "sprayed" or "poured" onto the skeleton (esp. since the x-ray image of his skeleton in the first x-men clearly shows the adamantium is segmented, as if "plated") you've got no guarantee it'll cover the entire surface of the bones, and no guarantee it'll just start melting into muscle tissue and internal organs and just solidify in that way. By the same token it's incredibly weird that the claws would become perfectly "blade" shaped when his bone-claws are an uneven, rough, circular shape. In essence, the process they alluded to in X2 - one that'd make the most sense - would be much more surgical and incredibly graphic by necessity, which is why you can't hope to show the actual bonding in a pg13 movie. It would also explain and justifies why the process would've been so traumatic as to haunt him as severely as it does in the first two films...

I know I'm like a year late for this, but when Cap implies that comic book Bishop's powers are based around guns, that's not entirely true. Bishop's power is to absorb and redirect energy. He just happens to use a gun because he's one of those characters from the 90s.

1:43:27 First Class ignores this movie, but just to make a slight correction, the movie wasn't entirely ignored in The Wolverine and Days of Future Past. In The Wolverine, Kayla is briefly mentioned and in Days of Future Past, a very brief shot of Lieb Schreiber's Victor crushing Wolverine's bone claws at the bar is shown in the footage of Xavier reading Logan's mind before the double Xavier scene. It's confirmed in the DOFP credits. Also I'm sure if they ignored this movie entirely we would never have had the bone claws in either of those films.

So to answer your question about the Canadian military's history, we were in the War of 1812 against the United States which we won (although US textbooks seem to think that Canadians burning down the capital doesn't constitute a loss for some reason), our involvement in the Civil War was mostly people transporting slaves to Canada since we had already abolished slavery, we were in both world wars before the US and liberated Holland in WWII. After that Canada stayed out of most of the Cold War era conflicts, when your country is between the two sides who want to nuke each other you got to make sure to not piss either side off.

Gambit takes Logan because he hates stryker and sabertooth. and he doesn't go because he can't land there until after It starts to be destroyed, presumably. why would Logan give in to his animal instinct when that's not who is character is in x-men 1? sabertooth is jealous of Logan, it's pieced throughout the movie, jealous of his nice dad, of his happiness, of his place as a person, that's why he wants to tear Logan down as a person to his level, make him an animal and even him having a stronger healing factor. it's even played on by stryker, when he plays to sabertooth's ego and calls him captain, a title that Logan held before him, I think. Have a very great day! God bless you all!
