I still get chills when we get that shot of them all standing together in a circle. They one up it in Age of Ultron and I cant comprehend how AWESOME it will be to see EVERYONE in one glorious shot in Infinity War.

Draven G The circular shot would have been great if it was a surprise in the movie. But after being shown in the trailers and tv spots all over, the impact was ruined.
@nathanexplosion34128 жыл бұрын
+5keeper7ful For you it was. Everyone in the theater was loud and clapping when that shot happened and I imagine a good number of them including myself saw that in trailer and it didn't matter. It still made an impact cause everything before that led up to it was awesome to seem them in a team shot

When the scene after Loki's attack is just about to ends in the hangar, pay attention to Loki as he is walking away with his mind-controlled captives. There is a blooper where Tom sneezes and doubles over a bit, but he doesn't break character, and it gets left in the film. The scene ends a few seconds after he sneezes, and the odds are pretty good that his co-stars probably were trying they're best not to laugh. It's literally a "sneeze and you'll miss it" moment, but once you see it the first time, you'll notice it every time you watch the film again. :)

Actually, the people Cap fights against AREN'T mind controlled. The movie makes a point of having Clint mention that he hired a bunch of people who had an issue with Shield. So while Clint is mind controlled, the people working for him aren't, they are just mercenaries who jumped at the opportunity to attack shield.

swanpride no way...out of all the times I've seen the movie i never picked up on that. is that in a deleted scene?
@navy02878 жыл бұрын
No, I believe it gets mentioned during the scene when the launch mechanism for the Tesseract is being worked on, and Loki is told he needs to obtain a specific isotope to aid in the construction. I believe it might've been Selvig (I haven't seen the film in years) who remarks on how so many people are working with them to Clint, and Clint clarifies the situation.

MVG thanks, now i gotta reason to rewatch Avengers...like i need a reason. 😂😂😂

When you re-watch the film, look out for the "Loki sneezes" blooper. It happens after Loki attacks the hangar and is walking away with his mind-controlled victims. There is a distance shot where Tom is leading his victims and sneezes, but he doesn't break stride and the scene ends a few seconds later. I watched the movie several times, but I never noticed the blooper until I saw the "Loki attacks" clip on KZbin. It happens right at the end, so unless they re-shot the end of the scene for the film, the blooper should still be there. :)

Whedon's Hulk makes no sense to me, and it's also contradicting what we saw in Incredible Hulk. In that movie he transforms unwittingly many times and he always knows who is he's friend and his foe, he is capable of protecting Betty, he's carefull of not killing almost anyone...heck, at one point he just says ''Leave me alone''... Now in Avengers we have this Hulk at the end Battle, that's fine, but in the middle he just for no reason starts attacking everyone...He could've just made him be mind controlled by Loki!

It's funny when they bring the thing about the "captain" title that a lot of characters have. I don't think Cap ever really had a rank during his service, it's just a catchy title. I could be wrong. Captain Marvel on the other hand is actually a colonel, but chooses to take up the mantle of Captain Marvel, so she is sort of a legacy.

Andrew Garfield's Peter is relatable. Especially compared to tobeyface
@spencermalley108 жыл бұрын
Not really
@redleaderantilles12638 жыл бұрын
I agree. Tobey feels like he is out of the 60s which was the point buttttt that does not make him relatable. If someone prefers that version that is fine but honestly I like Andrew cause he is more like a modern teenager. Older viewers find him unrelatable sure but that is cause (I say this as someone who was just barely not a teen when that film came out) teenagers are always hard to understand for the previous generation. And dare I say, my generation kinda does suck sometimes, but still I think their Peter was for the most part relatable especially to people that exact age in 2011. Though I am sure I will relate to the new Peter more since I am just a year older than him. Not that relatability is all there is to the character, I feel like overall Andrew's smugness was part of that Peter's way of pushing people away and being closed off which is very in line with that character. I think he came out of that a bit by the end but sadly without a 3rd film we have no idea if that arc would have continued more. Just my 2 cents on ASM.
@redleaderantilles12638 жыл бұрын
My big problem with Tobey's version is that he feels far to whiny and rarely takes any initiative in his life. Half of his films are him complaining about how he does not know what to do. Then again that same flaw applies to Andrew's version. What I am saying is I totally agree that Marvel getting the rights back is great. Just burn the forest down and start it all over again with Peter actually being proactive. He already seems that way based on the Homecoming trailer. That film seems to be ABOUT that idea.

Seems to be the common opinion that this film is terribly overrated, boring, generic, etc. Well, I grant you plot certainly isn't original (but then, no story idea really is, if you think about it) but the richness of this film lies in its characters and how they interact, and I'm not just talking about the witty banter. If you approach it through each individual hero's perspective and how that pairs with the others, it's actually quite interesting as well as enormously entertaining: eg CA is suffering after losing his future and selfless, whereas Tony selfish and confident, strolling about the helicarrier like he's the one in charge. *of course* they're going to clash, which is why it works when they do. Bruce is "dragged back into the freak-show" exactly where he didn't want to be. Fury and Loki both think themselves superior to others and need to make important decisions, and they are fine with manipulating people to achieve their respective goals. Etc. It also has one the cleverest and engaging scripts ever written, I think. And script is the single most important element of any movie: it is through it that characters and ideas are introduced and develop, which is vastly more important than merely what happens to the people in the movie. Investment, and all that. These reasons are why I''m absolutely fine there's a lot of talking in the movie, more so than action. I'm interested in these people, why they think and behave as they do, their journeys throughout the film. This film is great for making me do that. Independence Day (1996) is great only for being a hell of a ride, this one does that without sacrificing character development.

This movie is a lot of fun, but let's be real here: it's barely a good movie. It's clear Whedon came onto the project once the story structure and place in the larger universe had already been established, so it really feels like Whedon's (better) movie is trying to escape the cage of a mediocre framework that chokes his bigger themes into interesting, but fleeting, ideas. And oh my God, I'm so glad Whedon got a better cinematographer and learned how to make a blockbuster film without making it look like a TV show with Age of Ultron, because his TV sensibilities are painful at times.

Well, I never thought that it was a good movie to begin with. To long, to boring, lack of focus on one protagonist, story is to generic and heroes fighting each other is both mandatory and unecessary. I think that the only reason why people like this movie is because they are fanboys of those characters. It"s not the worse comicbook movie I ever seen, but it is certainly most overrated comicbook film.

I think it's a fine film. Grew up reading about The Avengers, but this film did not impress me as much as it did others. Don't know why, honestly. I actually remember loving that Fantastic Four movie from 2005 when I first saw when I was 11. I don't know why this did not have same effect on me, considering that it's a better movie. I think if it had better cinematography, less comedic gags, and more meat to the story, I'd like it much more.
