How to install MongoDB on Windows 10 [2021 Update] Step by Step Command-Line & GUI demonstration

Hello Everyone! Today in this video I am going to step by step guide you How to install MongoDB on Windows 10. Windows (64-bit).
After that, I am also going to show you How to Create a database and collections using Command-line. And then I will also show you how to download MongoDB Compass for using MongoDB in a Graphic User Interface. So let's begin. I promise you if you watch the entire video, you would not have any doubt about using the GUI interface + installation of MongoDB.

Step 1. First You need to download MongoDB software. So for that just go to the following link:
Link: www.mongodb.com/try/download/...
This page will lead to the MongoDB download page.
Find the installation file and click on it to download.
Now after downloading MongoDB save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.
Step 2. Install MongoDB
Double click to run the MongoDB installation file. Just follow the prompt as shown in the video ( • How to install MongoDB... ) and install MongoDB in your OS.
After the installation of MongoDB in your machine, you need to set the environment variables. So for that Just follow the video. This is very very important.
Step 3. Now create a database and collection in your MongoDB and check everything is working fine or not.
:::SYNTAX:::
show dbs - To print a list of all databases on the server.
use {db} - To switch current database to {db}
show collections - To print a list of all collections for the current database.
db.collection.find() - To find all documents in the collection and returns a cursor.
Then you need to download MongoDB compass for using MongoDB in a Graphic User Interface or GUI. So for that just go to the following link to download:

Step 4: Now after downloading MongoDB compass, just double click on the installation file. If you face any difficulty just follow the video. You can also comment in our comment section. I will help you.
Step 5: After installing MongoDB compass you can create a database and collections as shown in the video.

Ok, so first go to the search menu and type Services and run the app -- --Locate MongoDB Server, right-click and select Properties -- --Access LogOn tab --Select the Local System account radio button --Select OK Hopefully it will be alright now

On trying to connect its says no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

I think something is preventing its connection to the port. It may be because of firewall blocking the connection or the process that is hosting the service. So do check that in your firewall.
