There is a reason why Toyota is consistently the leading car brand here and in the US: RELIABILTY AND DURABILITY. Many chinese cars are ahead in the number of additional features but Toyota believes that more features mean that thwre are more things that can break down and go wrong, so it limits the features to those that are really essential. Time is the ultimate test on how good any car brand is, and I have owned 4 Toyotas that each reached more than 200k mileage and remained in good condition.. I have also owned Mitsubishi, Nissan and Honda cars, but overall Toyota is the best.

Toyota believes? Of course, they don't want you to think that Geely is comparable or better! Until you try another brand and realize that Japanese Brands are overrated. I too owned 4 new Hondas and 1 new Jeep, until I owned a Kia Sorento. Until then, I looked down at Hyundai and Kia, thinking the same logic, can't be that cheap and good. I WAS WRONG! The 2018 Kia Sorento AWD was loaded with features and was made more solid than any other car I have purchased before. Before you cast judgment on Geely, go for a test drive, won't cost you! You get way more value for the price you pay and it's loaded with things like LEATHER and ventilated seats! Also, if you drive that much, rather than driving 200K km on a car, sell it or upgrade it, because the value of a car really drops after 200K mileage.

To be fair, Hyundai and Kia cars have increased quality by leaps and bounds and are now on top of US Reliability Ratings. Bottom line is Time Will Tell.

4 cylinder kase to compared to other Geely cars na 3 cylinder turbocharged and 1.3L lang sya. eto naka 1.4 so expected sya. Well coming from a 2.4L one this is much fuel efficient for me.

Boss wag mo gamitin para di malakas sa gas. May trade off talaga pag nagsasakyan ka. gas mileage ang trade off ng comfort mo while travelling. 1.5L makina niyan, on average 8-9kms per liter city driving. If you want na mas tipid, go for 1.2L or 1.0L engine na manual transmission.

People have this mentality na dahil Chinese car baka beneta dahil may sira or issues. That’s my point of view lang. I was also thinking din bakit din ganun kalaki ang price difference

May mga assessors ang Banks and insurance companies who also set the value of these cars and they take into account variables. Kayo naman kasi kung magfanboy para bang established brand na si geely at alam nyo mismo yung components niyan from engine block to piston rings, transmission and kahit yung metalurgy ng raw materials niya. Then you have Ease of Ownership (maintenance, repairs, parts availability...etc.) and Cost efficiency rating. Hirap kasi kapag features lang tinitingnan sa pagbili ng kotse at sa halip na sa mekaniko makinig eh sa mga car reviewers na nagbabasa lang ng brochure.

Besides, you mentioned doing some research before you decided to buy this car. Is the gas consumption not part of your research? My point? If you are making a content like this be sure you are making it right for the sake of your viewers. "Sakit sa Ulo" title makes everyone think that the car is really not good, where in fact it is actually better. Yun lang.

@@jesicolarina0402 appreciate the feedback sir. Indeed I did my research prior buying this car. I think everyone would agree that gasoline is very expensive now a days. “Sakit sa ulo” right? I honestly mentioned in this video the advantages and disadvantage (1). Because truly I love everything about this car. I apologize if you find the title of this video misleading. Also, I only drive eco mode for better gasoline consumption also turning off the air conditioning when driving to and from the province area to save gasoline however, I am not seeing the difference it seems it’s the same. Also, I am not “kaskasiro” when driving so that gives me the conclusion that this car is not gasoline efficient. This is my point of view and personal experience with the car.

@@siberianaki2303 Got your point there. expensive petrol is not new in PH. For me it's not a big issue anymore and everyone have accepted it so hindi na sya masakit sa ulo. haha. Unless, you can do something about that, sasambahin na talaga kita, lol. But anyways, I would like to see more of your reviews how this car performs. Coz to be honest, I lover everything about Geely. In fact, I am thinking of swapping our Ertiga to Okavango because of the mild hybrid system. I don't mean to be rude to you ha. I am also a content creator din kase and I love car reviews. Matibay daw leading brand pero gusto nila maraming piyesa hehe. Napakahuna na nung leading brands especially DNGA products. Fake NCAP pa. Sa Lata ng exterior sa sa Plastic sa interior kita mo na agad na MAS CHEAPLY made yung leading brands. Lalo na kung paguusapan pa techs.

@@efraimastejada849 yes malakas sya, mas dama mo pag city driving. Pero pag highway naman okay lang. compared kasi sa 1.2 Engine car ko before napakatipid sa gaas. Kaya seguro dama ko ang lakas ng kain sa gasolina. About the seat foam. Comfortable naman ako sa lambot di namn sya matigas.
