I just had my Geely Emgrand because of this Review - My option was 1. Honda City 2. Geely Emgrand, But when I test drive these 2 vehicle - The Emgrand really gives me chill and comfort.

What sir Kyle said about the Emgrand with regards to engine power is correct, I also saw somebody making a vlog said that the Emgrand is not fast, its really for the comfort.

I bought a geely Azkarra on sept 2022. Now i need a new car. In my many comparisons. Like carolla camry territory,maybe i will choose Geely Emgrand. Because of the luxury and comfort of the Geely brand.

A cheaper Proton Saga here in Malaysia does way better handling than the Honda City, we are finally getting the Emgrand this year but with a much higher horsepower

Proton benefits from its partnership with Geely, and gets some upgrades to suit our market. For the Okavango or X90 as they called it in Malaysia, we get multilink suspension instead of torsion beam and here’s to hoping the Emgrand / S50 will get the same treatment too. And since the 1.5 multiport turbo is being assembled locally, we might get that as well instead of an NA engine.

Emgrand ♥️ Head turner talaga. Enjoy lalo ang barkada/passenger pg nka labas sa sunroof. Pinagtitinginan😂. Di narin need extra speed, sport mode is more than enough. Comfortable tapos maaliwalas sa loob. Nakakawala ng stress

i like that. but the design is luxury and not for racing. it not lacks in overtaking. but limit you to run 175kph because of tire NVH

my only complain was emgrand doesnt have a turbo, but it consumes gas almost equivalent to coolray's 1.5 ltr turbo engine

Geely is pronounced with a hard G, like ground, not a J sound like in jelly. Just FYI. Nice comparo. I like the Emgrand, but it's not a driver's car, so I'll choose the City in this battle. I actually find it strange that people would buy the Emgrand if they can buy the Coolray for just a little bit more for the base variant (which I have).

That’s true for the current facelift. This video was recorded during the time of the outgoing model. The Emgrand is far more spacious, comfortable, and refined though.
