DREAM BUILD ROAD BIKE - Blackheart Road Ti

It's always nice when something special comes across the stand. BlackHeart, a small California-based company, recently introduced their second model - the Road Ti.
Designed to offer all the advantages of modern carbon fiber race bikes, the titanium frame stands out without shouting and has a timeless look that will shine for years to come.
It's built up with a SRAM Force AXS groupset and includes nice touches like a power meter, Red chain and cassette, and CeramicSpeed bottom bracket and OSPW System.
Vittoria Corsa Pro TLR tires are mounted on Zipp 353 NSW wheels and the bike is finished with Fizik bar tape and an Argo Vento Adaptive 00 saddle.

Starting my recycled titanium build in 2 weeks when I get back to UK. Dolan ADX frame with Campy Chorus mechanical groupset. Hambini racing BB and Hunt wheels. All second hand but with new cables and bearings. can’t wait to get going after watching nearly all of your road builds. Aiming for a day but sure its gonna be much longer.

11:36- money shot. I'll bet this thing gives up VERY little to conventional all round carbon race bikes. I've got their Allroad TI, it's probably the best 'everyday' bike I've ever had.

I measure and mark the bars so I know where to end the tape to get both sides even when I'm wrapping integrated bars. Also, that's enough sealant for some fat gravel tires.

In the buttom bracket tube, does the brake cable run from the bottom or top of the sleeve? when you assemble Sram brakes do you use sram dot compatible grease??

What are the advantages of titanium over carbon fiber?

Very simplified - It is a lightweight metal (around 55% the density of steel) and is more elastic/flexible than carbon fibre so a titanium frame can provide a smoother ride. Also, it creates its own protective oxidised layer and is therefore corrosion resistant, and will dent rather than crack on impact.

I cringe hard when he doesn’t torque anything that clamps on carbon to spec.
