I believe Geena Davis 100%. I believe people should be held accountable for their past abusive behavior. I also believe that the motivation, and timing of this being confirmed publicly now, is not about seeking a long overdue accountability, but to sell books.

I think she wrote a memoir that included one of the most disgusting experiences of her life as an actress and all she had to put up with. Now the media does what they always do and cherry picked the most sensational story. Turns out Bill Murray is a pig just like Richard Dreyfus said. The arsenic Hall interview was ALL ABOUT SEXUAL HARRASSMENT on live TV . you must be a man…..cause you missed the point entirely. ❤

Love Geena but if his behavior was that bad she should have said something almost 40 years ago when it happened....I don't see the point of bringing it up now, besides to help her book sales.

The rule is to wait 20-40 years, that way faulty memories can be an excuse. If she did it back then, she might have to face defamation charges and lose her career, very risky. Now, she has nothing to lose, only win so it makes sense now.

Absolutely agree, if she wasn't selling a book you could even be slightly sympathetic. But jumping on the hate Bill Murray bandwagon to sell a book says all i need to know about her. Also i couldn't ever hate Bill Murray, well I couldn't ever hate him for the current reasons, its not enough to cancel and old legend. An old legend who is maybe out of touch a little. He is so much of my childhood, Caddy shack, Ghost busters 1 and 2, Scrooged, Groundhog Day, What About Bob. I've lost count of the times I watched those films.

Jesus christ thats all u can think of when after decades men finally get called out for sexually harassing women with no backlash? No its all about how men suffer. Dude not all men suffer for this, fake allegations get disproven, but there’s A LOT of men who are genuinely fucking guilty. Wtf is ur problem? Not even an ounce of sympathy. Also ‘men don’t want to talk to women’ wtf r u on about, if ur not constantly flirting with every woman u see and hitting on them its absolutely fine to talk to women, theres no allegations about that.

Adding "a_s" to an adjective, followed by a noun, is just a form of expression -- the word "a_s" in this context is not talking about her body. The interviewer could have been talking to a man and said, "You're a grown-a_s man" -- again, not really talking about his body. It's just a curse word, used here in order to augment the feeling behind the adjective "grown." -- it's an intensifier suffix. EXAMPLES: That was a fun-a_s party, a crazy-a_s idea, a big-a_s car... You COULD make an argument that this word usage is childish and silly in any context, though.

arsenio hall appearance started with her hugging and kissing him on the lips. When they sit down he was sitting next to her like he was next to someone on bus until she pulled him in. He at one point touched her thigh to which she did playful elbow so he went back into bus ride mode until she grabbed him pulling him back into it. All these women wind up alone and miserable projecting their bs onto their betters. Bill rules, Gena drools

It's a difficult dynamics between men and women. Because men naturally feel overpowered by women, because we have so much desire towards them and we're terrified of rejection. So the way men tend to "weaponize" themselves is to use power, use charms, use whatever they have and be really aggressive.. because “that's what's men are supposed to do", to be "the man", the strong one, etc. Women HATE passive men, men that ask "please" for everything, or say "forgive me" and "I'm sorry" all the time. Obviously there's the right time to do these things, but it is not a simple thing. These are not seen as masculine things because they suggest weakness. Of course they can also be strength, but it's a thin line that divides that, whether we're being polite and gentlemen or just f*cking weak (which is often the case: being overly nice comes often from weakness). I'm not excusing Murray's behavior, but I'm just saying the that nature of this dynamics IS in itself complicated, and there's no manual, no universal rulebook. We take risks, we don't know how we'll be received, and so on. If we take ZERO risks we'll never engage with a woman. We'll keep seeing such revelations for a long time, because yes, many have misbehaved, but mostly because it is a complicated dynamics to begin with. What I hope this provokes is not a public execution of every man that has ever even slightly misbehaved (and all of us have at some point to some degree), but an honest and deeper discussion. It is NOT about Murray, it's about ME (meaning each of us), and how we're gonna adjust our own behavior and culture to improve this dynamics (which is probably always gonna be complicated, but hopefully can be improved).
