The desert? You mean the episode where Grievous tries baking and his magna guards audition for dancing with the stars while his b1 raps "clanka" with his homies?
@zexalbrony479910 ай бұрын
A good pair of episodes, both sides were competent and skillful showing how impressive all those on both sides were, it felt like a decent chess match with each counter they made. It was also good development for Rex with him meeting Cut. Both these episodes and the four-parter that preceded it(the Second Battle of Geonosis) are some really good episodes and kind of underrated if you ask me. Luckily, with this video and the video on the Second Battle of Geonosis from several years ago, this great channel has now done videos on both of these stories. Also since you asked, it might not be a traditional battle, but how about a video on the Citadel rescue from season 3? Also, also, I've head canoned that the reason Grevious was at Saleucami here was because he was scouting locations for the Morgukai Cloning Operations.

Grievous's Recusant was an upsized Recusant with a length of 2,544 meters compared to a stock Recusant 1,187 meters in length

Kind of reckless of the Republic to even attack the Sepper planet Saleucami in the early years of this iteration of the Clone Wars. And in the meantime, this Eeth Koth sure is jarringly lucky to have survived up to the late years of the war. In the Legends continuity, he died on the Battle of Geonosis via his LAAT/i gunship (who also had the eventually traitorous Sora Bulq on board; he secretly survived the crash, all things considered) being unceremoniously shot down and being successfully cornered by oncoming Sepper forces. Oh, well, at least he was a good soldier back on the Yinchorri system.

A very odd retcon if there ever was one. Well at least we got an interesting moment for Grievous and a classic banter between him and Kenobi.
@michaelandreipalon35910 ай бұрын
@@merafirewing6591 Not exactly a retcon, more like Multiverse Theory rearing its strange head when it came to giving different universes different outcomes, not unlike how the likes of the Fullmetal Alchemist original series and the Brotherhood series did things, or maybe the Patlabor OVAs+Movies and the TV Series.

"I hear a lot of talking, General! But in the final accounting, what does all that talk get you?! A futile price for power? A mutilated body! Your place is Dooku's errand boy!" "I am no one's errand boy! I am not in this war for Dooku's politics! I am the leader of the most powerful droid army the galaxy has ever seen!" "An army with no loyalty, no spirit! Just programming. What do you have to show for all your power, what have you to gain?!?" "The future: the future where there are no Jedi! The story of Obi-Wan Kenobi ends here!" One of my favorite exchanges of dialogue in the entire SW franchise.

I love these Clone Wars stories, as I loved the series. Always wanted to see how things would go if none of the characters had plot armor.

How did Greivous manage to tame a wild Reek in record time to use it as a mount during his escape on Saleucami?
@Zakvadr199510 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly, Reeks are actually peaceful herbivores and used like cattle. The one we see in the Arena was fed meat, starved and forcibly agitated. Might need to double check, lore might have changed.

The greatest part of these two episodes was definitely “Tank two port side!” “Great shot!” I still don’t know how that one clone was able to dodge the rocket and that gunner was able to shoot it down. Some of the best reflexes we have seen in Star Wars from non force users.
