JIMIN'S performance of the song he wrote "LIE" in the Wings Tour is so amazing because not only does it showcase his vocals but also his absolutely breathtakingly amazing dancing as well which he does while singing! No lip syncing! JIMIN was trained in classical dance since preteen as well as kendo martial arts for 8 years because as a little boy he saw a sword fight in a film and wanted to be the best swordsman in the world! Even then he needed and had the desire to be the best at whatever he does! He also has a blackbelt in Taekwondo as well. Then early teens he continued with ballet but also studied modern dance as well as hip hop and popping which he really loved! Even in middle school when annulled for him he could always be found in the practice room dancing but he also got top grades and was even the class president throughout his schooling because he was head of his class with grades as well. His teacher was so impressed with him he recommended him to high school of arts where he studied modern dance and once again achieved top honors as being best in class! Another teacher there recommended he go to Seoul he was from a smaller port city Busan. So he went to the big city to tryout for BigHit entertainment. Not only did he end up with BTS but their debut was only a few months after he joined BTS. He never had any background In singing before and since he was the last to join he had only a few months to be a trainee and train with a vocal coach. He never thought he couldn't sing he was just very insecure since he never had the proper amount to train so he could learn the proper breathing techniques along with using you vocal cords properly. Especially since BTS dances while they sing it even puts more strain on them vocally. No matter how good a singer you are, if you do not sing properly you could actually damage your vocal cords or ruin your voice! This is why he was insecure about his singing. Plus being who he is he always wants and needs to be the very best at whatever he does since he is an absolute perfectionist to almost a fault! He has said that he wants to be a singer that moves and effects people. Right now he is working on his vibrato! He is always studying practicing to just get better and better non stop. But is so beyond selfless that he always talks up all the other band members and never puts the spotlight on himself! To this day many people are still not aware of all his achievements and background.

BTS means a lot to army and not just for their beautiful faces and amazing talent but as human beings we could never explain in words just how much they mean to us so I'll just say we love them unconditionally they are Talented, Sweet, Humble, Goofballs, Awkward, Random, Hilarious, Caring, Thoughtful, Selfless, and above all Real and as you look more into them you'll see all these things so welcome to the fandom we're glad to have you 🤗 but before that let me give you some history about them and how far they've come, sorry if you don't wanna read all this but I think it's important to know where their roots are and how they came to be who they are today it will help you understand why we love them so much BTS and ARMY are a family They started out as trainees of course and were for years they practiced everyday until they dropped, they are from a company called BigHit which was a very small unknown company who almost went bankrupt ( There are three big entertainment companies in Korea and they pretty much control the media if your not from one your pretty much doomed to fail it seems for some reason people think your not worth much ) bts were very poor and lived in a small one bedroom apartment smaller then my garage ( not kidding my garage is bigger ) and all seven boys slept in one room in bunk beds they even had to skip meals some days and take vitamins instead because they couldn't afford to eat they were ridiculed and spit on by not just the big companies but everyone really they practice at least more then 10 hours a day and never gave up they worked so hard and honestly kept a smile the hole time they talk about depression anxiety suicide achieving goals and even how it's ok not to have a goal just be happy they talk about society and how it's wanting to make people into machines they talk about over studying ( which is huge in Korea it has one of the largest suicide rates in the world because of how much pressure is on students and people in general if your not number one your not much to smile at sadly ) and even how to overcome that, BTS has a song called "Not Today " and it's about overcoming obstacles and how they were the under dogs but look at us now, they use a phrase Crowtit which means ( there's a phrase in Korean "뱁새가 황새 걸음을 걸으면 가랑이가 찢어진다" which means "if a crow-tit walks like a stork, it will break its legs." The meaning is that you’ll ruin yourself if you try to imitate someone better than you. ) they talk about using those little legs to keep running until they reach victory which is so beautiful in Korea talking about depression or anything remotely like it is taboo ( they find it disgusting and it should be swept under the rug ) they have a saying there " a nail sticks out must be nailed down " BTS challenges this saying and sticks up their and future generations they talk about the struggles we phase daily and how everyone in the world in connected by them no matter the color of skin or religion they work so hard I can't stress that enough and they love each other so much they are a family if they go on vacation ( which is fairly rare ) they have to text and Skype all the time just to get through it lol they are attached to one another with good reason they've faced impossible obstacles and over came them together ( after so long and when they get big idol groups usually get their own places bts chose to still live together with their own rooms but together lol ( Jimin and J Hope are still roommates ) and the place is fit for kings which they deserve so I'm happy about that ) so here's a little in sight to bts sorry for the super long comment lol 😂 if you don't wanna read it no hard feeling Idk if I would either After saying all that lol they are just people they can cry and get hurt, they get tired and hungry they can be overwhelmed and confused let's never forget they are human beings P.S the fandom and be protective so please bear that in mind and not hold it against us we just really love our boys and can get claws when we feel their being mistreated or bad mouthed which you don't do but there are some that have claws for no reason lol 😂 Also I could probably never date a bts member I find them the most attractive and amazing people in the world but it's platonically I view them as family that I wanna support love and protect more then anything
