As a continuing GTX 1060 6GB holdout. I've waited 4+ years for RTX 2070 Super Performance for $250 USD. Never received that now basic performance level in that cost range. Now the closest card RTX 4060 with inadequate 8GB isn't enough for UE5 and using the advertised features of RT and FG. My next card may very well be an Intel Arc Xe2 Battlemage b580 12GB unless nvidia starts becoming more competitive at the low-mid range gpu and places minimum of 12GB VRAM on the low end RTX 5050 cards, RTX 5060 16GB mid range, RTX 5070 24GB, RTX 5080 32GB, RTX 5090 48GB. The gamer community and non paid reviewers has had enough of the limiting VRAM shortcomings of nvidia cards. Beyond embarrassing now. RTX 5060 8GB don't even release it.

I’ve been a Nvidia fan before the Geforce brand was created. I owned a Creative RIVA TNT GPU with 16 MB RAM in 1999. I upgraded to an ATI Radeon 8500 (64 MB RAM) in early 2002. In 2007, I upgraded to 2x Nvidia GeForce 8800 Ultra in SLI to play Crysis. The games image quality was truly astonishing! In 2010 I upgraded to 2x Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 in SLI. They were great GPUs offering better image quality, but the temperatures and fan noise were just too much. In 2014 I swapped the twin GTX 480 for a more powerful and whisper quiet GTX 980. That was an amazing card, it delivered far better image quality and only engaged its fan when you worked it hard. In 2024, my GTX 980 is still working perfectly but I upgraded to an RTX 4070 Ti Super 16 GB OC from Asus since I’m not sure how much longer the GTX 980 would have received driver updates. Far Cry 6 with the GTX 4070 Ti Super is amazing. Looking forward to many more years of GeForce! #GeForceGreats

So I recently wanted to tinker with Nvidia RTX Remix and tried to see if it would work on metal gear solid 1 for pc. Doesn’t look like it, didn’t work. I tired the gog version. Has anyone ever tried it or have any videos suggestions for beginners to make something like that happen ? I’ve seen some amazing demonstration of examples but I’d like to learn how to put my 4090 to work and enhance some older classics I still love today. ❤

I have a challenge for Nvidia, let's take the Acer 32:9 monitor, the predator 57.1" model Z57 Bmi and the RTX 5090, its resolution is 7680 x 2160, I challenge the RTX 5090 to run Starfield at 60fps in ultra quality half of this monitor at 7680 x 1080 resolution with black borders. On this monitor, on half of it with black edges, the RTX 5090 has to do 60fps in Ultra quality at 7680 x 1080 resolution in the Starfield game and if it succeeds, the graphics card with twice the power of the RTX 5090 will do 60fps in Ultra quality across the board. screen with 7680x 2160 resolution in the Starfield game. The RTX 5090 would need to be approximately 24.8% more powerful than the RTX 4090 to achieve 60 FPS in Starfield at 7680 x 1080 resolution and 3840 x 2160 resolution.

1-higher msrp prices. 2- higher tariffs. 3-high tier gpus with 12gb of vram like 5070 (which is not enough). 4- 8gb gpus like 5060 in 2025!!!!!. 5- low production which leads to "no stock everywhere" and giving a space for scalpers to sell GPUs with higher prices. 6- the gap between 5080 and 5090 is so huge, just to fool people by the 5080 then release a 5080 super with the same price making the 5080 owners look like fools. Instead of playing at 8k or 7680 x 4320 with 16:9 aspect ratio I want to play at 7680 x 1080 with 63:9 aspect ratio, is Nvidia happy with my challenge? I'm less demanding than 8k, RTX 5090 doesn't need to make me 60fps at 7680 x 4320, RTX 5090 need to make 60fps at just 7680 x 1080 :) I'm 4 times less demanding than those who play at 8k. One 8k screen is the same as four 1080p screens, and I will be using three 1080p screens to do ultra quality and 60fps. My requirement is that there are three 21:9 screens and not three 16:9 screens. With an 8k screen we have four 16:9 or a 64:9 screen I will be playing with three 21:9 or a 63:9 screen, instead of 16:9 with 8k or 64:9 with 4k I will be playing in 63:9 with 1080p, just 1:0 less. The RTX 5090 only needs to get me 60 fps at 7680 x 1080 and not at 7680 x 4320. Is Nvidia happy with this?
