@@akromawrath7353 She couldn't even if she wanted to since she was locked in her palace. This had to be more satisfying for Ruyi, than if she had executed Yawan when she found out about the prostitutes. At least this way all of Yawan's crimes were revealed. And Ruyi had the satisfaction of knowing that the emperor now knew how far astray Yawan was willing to lead him to become the next empress, and how many princes she was willing to kill to see her son on the throne. Not to mention all the other deaths she committed. Can you imagine the chaos the harem would have been under her leadership as empress? Even under her leadership as Noble Consort the majority of the harem would not acknowledge her authority. The irritating part is that her son was just about the only prince left, let alone the only one the emperor was not prejudiced against. The emperor did make sure Yawan didn't see her son on the throne, although he couldn't stop his son from giving her the Empress Dowager title posthumously.

Since she can no longer bare children, she won't be harmed by Consort Ling and she has become a good advisor which helped to stabilize his actions. It seemed as became older, he was less and less reasonable . Yuhu was also excellent at this since the Emperor trusted her advice
