I remember Derik when he was talking about races and injuries. One race in Ohio we went, and his now wife and I were looking at each other halfway through his heat like.... Where the heck is derik! Next thing I know 10 mins later he comes walking up with one foreman looking like an S and his other broke in half. I remember saying.. Ooooook I'll get the truck lol. Fun times and injuries are a part of it but it sucked seeing my friend work so hard to have that happen. Just happy to be able to see him when he is work especially this year at Daytona.
