Geiger counter VS Americium-241

As you can tell by the video above radioactive material is very dangerous. DO NOT TRY TO GET radioactive material as shown in the video.
Americium-241 is an isotope of americium. Like all isotopes of americium, it is radioactive, with a half-life of 432.2 years. ²⁴¹Am is the most common isotope of americium as well as the most prevalent isotope of americium in nuclear waste.
The normal background radiation at my place is 0.14 ish usv/hour
Paper is to avoid as much contamination as possible to the Geiger counter.
The Geiger counter I used is: GQ GMC-500 plus

it isn't dangerous at all lol. 0.3 microcuries and its sealed in gold foil

It is incredibly dangerous inhaling a sample like this would result in a dose of roughly .3 Sv

Be very careful with this source! Inhalation could likely be fatal. This sample isn't as sealed as it seems, so contamination is imminent. Just make sure to decontaminate after use.
