I have 3 bobro ratcheting scout mounts, theyre all rock solid. Id suggest giving them a shout to get that addressed. For the front sight, just move the peq back a slot, that sight radius is heinous. Bad levers are absolute crap. The pdq is the best way to make a non ambi lower ambi, redi release is decent too, bad lever is begging for malfunctions or nd's.

I don't have the URGI, but I recently acquired a SOLGW M89 14.5" pinned/welded 5.56 upper. I have it mounted on a Spike's Tactical Gen II bilet ambi lower. I only have roughly a tad over 200 rounds through it so far, but I love it. Their muzzle device will only accept a Dead Air Sandman or Nomad, but from what I understand, Dead Air cans aren't horrible. I forgot how buttery smooth the recoil is on those 14.5" compared to shortys like the MK18. Awesome video, man!

I love arson they are seriously underrated and one of those companies you'd never know about unless you look up just the right words in Google lmao, as far as a similar FSS swivel I'm not to sure, I have always just ran troy/shit that comes with stuff and the Ferro. The Ferro swivels are probably pretty close the the FSS in terms of overall shape and size from just looking at the FSS online, but I have never owned the ALG ones (a little pricey IMO, but I am sure they are really solid!)

Absolutely wonderful the gun. What color is that? it looks like anthracite but with an olive shimmer. i love geissele and bcm! perfect combination. but the bcm grip is placed in the wrong direction, or am I just the one who sees it that way.

The grip is backwards! I did that to kind of create a forward slope to really help get a solid purchase on it and really have leverage to help drive the rifle into my shoulder with my support hand!

With all the wires up front it reminds me of my fuse box in my shop. I'm not an operator so no need for NV. I do like the scales. I'm a big Geissele fan but, their handguards are extremely overpriced and even then I just can't vibe with them. Deduct 5 style points. In love with the height of your optic but, no sense buying that one because ill never spend $900 on a red dot. Wish they made that height optic mount for Vortex premium green dots. Solid trigger choice. Only Hiperfire Eclipse trigger is "probably" better. I own 2 SD3G Geissele's and 2 Hiperfire Eclipse. So toss up. Only Phase 5 B.A.D levers for my 7 AR's. Yes on every one. Where's the enhanced castle nut with 33 attachment points? Deduct 10 style pts. BCM vertical grip, BCM gunfighter pistol grip and a Magpul bare bones stock? Really? BCM makes stocks too brother. Lucas Botkin, 40 min away from me, can show you how to paint...err rattle can your rig. Overall I give it a 8.5/10. You know I'm poking at you. You have a chunk of $ in that rig including the Surefire suppressor not shown. Who am I to judge. I have 2 of the 7 AR's in the $4-5k range. Still love that optic mount, I'm 5'11" and a long neck......that mount is legit, but there will never be an Aimpoint optic in my arsenal. As long as your satisfied with your rig who cares what anyone says about it. Stay safe. God bless.

I’ve found a full power illuminator is much more useful than any civilian version. Civilian lasers for pointers seem fine. Why have a LA5 if you don’t use the illuminator? Too much flood on scout lights.

I will use the illuminator on the La5, its just very situational due to the power it has, Surefire works good inside for bouncing light down hallways and rooms and close distances outside, if I need more range Ill throw the La5 over to laser & illuminator and really stretch it out. The La5’s adjustable illuminator is nice for really dialing it in for the situation too… its all in the situation and what you need it to do, I find that setup is a good do it all and cover the most if that makes sense!

@@556ChannelHD it was my opinion. Its not needed if he doesn’t need/desire it but imo he just built a decent fighting rifle and i think it just needs a paint job that will eventually scrape chip and look used. Add some character if you will.
