It's just a bad gameplay loop. Loot is often unrewarded other than the hope of something good, but that hope us just one item usually that makes it more dissapointing

1. Toxic af player base. 2. Lack of content. 3. Horrible connection. 4. Money sink for meseta. 5. The grind. 6. Player market. 7. Lack of many general improvisations 8. Just wtfh dude.

The thing is with this is going to the question of why do you play games and what about it keeps you playing it. For most they treat it as a job or a chance to show off or achieve something someone else hasnt. Then for some they treat it as a chat room. Bottomline is games are here for amusement and entertainment just like any other games. People need to relax and stop acting as if the game is the whole world to them and just play to relax and enjoy themselves if your not enjoying yourself find something that does bring you joy. Playing with others is also a part of that so if your a person that only haves fun play with others then you need to get out there and make friends and enjoy with those people. For solo players depending NGS there are some things you cant do solo and theres things you can like grinding you can do that solo or with a party but if you want to get somewhere the party aspect of games get you to somewhere faster then playing solo. But its a game so just play it how you want if your not happy play something that does bring you joy. When you start taking a game seriously thats when all the fun of the game kind of goes away because now your trying to achieve something and that cause stress if you cant get what you want out of the gameplay. But my tip is just play to have fun and once you done all you want to do log out, its that simple and it also prevents burn out.

I mean people keep saying the same thing and it's not really the issue. It's not about burnout, it's the fact that the game isn't so good, and players who speak about it get railed by crazed fans who breathe their own positive toxic farts all day.
