I really like Briogeo. The brand itself is wonderful and like what the owner stands for. Now....it is a luxury brand and the sizes are not big so you get what you pay for. And the brand said it works for all hair types and once a brand says that, you have to wonder if it will be moisturizing enough for tighter curls. And for the price .... well.

love your videos! i’ll say this for briogeo: the co-wash (to refresh), the deep conditioner, and the scalp treatment (my daughter has seborrheic dermatitis) are 🔥!! esp the deep conditioner!! it’s crazy expensive so i mix it with other masks, but i use it EVERY WEEK. it’s that good. the custard is ok, but for the price, i prob won’t buy it again. haven’t tried it on a twistout yet. think that might be pretty good. the gel is completely useless to me. maybe for very loose curls. 🤷🏾‍♀️ the brand is black woman owned, for those who want to support her. thanks ♥️ for this bc no one ever reviews this brand!

I know this sounds weird, but I use the custard first and under the defining cream. The defining cream acts more like a styler for my hair. I get the best results that way. Overall though, I dislike needing to layer two or more styling products unless the first one will double as a good leave-in. Briogeo also uses “Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium” in a lot of their styling products, which can build up like silicone over time. I find myself having to clarify more often, or deal with more weighted down hair when I use their products. :-/

I'm glad it turned out decent for you. I got scurred for a second as Briogeo is my fave. It has some great ingredients. I love the brand but I have finer hair. I use the green line and Curl Charisma. When my hair is dry I just spray with a little water and apply the leave-in and it becomes silky smooth. Maybe try the deep conditioner?

I tried the rice amino and quinoa frizz control gel. It does far too little for the price and size of the bottle. And it goes on my hair like sudsy/lathery like I'm putting shampoo on my hair but dries fine. It's ok I guess but not really worth that price.
