It’s a small world! I was watching this and I wondered if you are in the same swap group as me so with some super sleuthing I discovered that this July you actually received one of my ATC’s. I’ve learned so much from you 😍

I've made fabric post cards and ATC's but not coins. Interesting! I lived for a year in England in the late '50's and fell in love with the country and people.

Thankyou - the coins are a 'new thing' but it is a fun size to work on so I can see why they have become popular.

@TeresaMorgan6 жыл бұрын
Thankyou - great idea to use anaglypta. Hadn't really thought about that. I've got bubble wrap and corrugated card, etc but I bet you have found some great designs on the wallpaper.....off to B&Q LOL!!!

In the end you need a lot of things, hundreds of pounds worth, inkts, gelli plates, brayers, textures mats, embossingplates, embosing powder, paper cutter, sixxex machine and dies for that, papers, heattool and so on and so on......

These colors are fantastic! What a great video! I'm primarily an abstract acrylic painter but I like to incorporate ephemera and Gelli-plate designs into my paintings. I wonder at the longevity of these neon colors with higher-end acrylic paints? But, then again, I always varnish my paintings after I'm finished with them.
@TeresaMorgan6 жыл бұрын
Thankyou - the colours are amazing aren't they! Here is the link to the DecoArt Neon product info, not sure if it helps you any (it may be worth contacting them if you need more details) shop.decoart.com/americana-neons

How do you store and show your coins?
@TeresaMorgan5 жыл бұрын
I trade a lot of coins, and store them in the 9 pocket pages that I keep ATCs in (trading card sleeves).
@mawmawvee4 жыл бұрын
What do you use to make the circles for your trading coins? I had asked someone and she told me it was heavy water color paper, but I can't find this person. She said she got it at Michael's, so I'm asking several people whose videos I watched, so if you could help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
@TeresaMorgan4 жыл бұрын
Thankyou!! I use greyboard (cereal box weight card) for the backing and then just glue my papers/prints to that and embellish.
@mawmawvee4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Teresa. I've got all kinds of that kind of cardboard, so I can just use that. If I want, I can stick light watercolor paper to the topside and be all set.

I like your trading coins except I refuse to cut up books for printed words as I'm a family historian/researcher. So I have computer generated my own word sheets or cut words and phrases out of packaging. By the way, my husband descends from a Morgan. His ancestor's ancestor - the first Morgan to emigrate to America came from Wales.
@TeresaMorgan6 жыл бұрын
Totally understand your reasons. How interesting re your husband. Maybe we are distant relations. x
