I’ve been using gelish base and then structure on my nails for years now and find that it works great considering I’m a nail tech and very hard on my nails.

I have been using the translucent pink Structure gel on my nails for a few months. With using the pH Bond and ProBond I have had 0 lifting. It is a very easy to use product and I love the way it looks.

What type of wipes do you use to remove the tacky layer? I’ve been using the OPI expert touch, but I like how yours looks like gauze-more absorbent.

I've only used the Cover Pink color for two of my clients. Both loved it and they lasted well into 3 weeks. I've since switched to Luminary (base and color in one) because of all the color options.
@TheSalonLife5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I wish the tinted versions of the Structure gels had better colors. Do you know where Luminary is made? I can’t find anywhere

Which product is fav to use as an overlay for regular polish? I like something not to thick and easy to work with. Apres soft gel builder is very thick and hard to use me overlay.
@TheSalonLife2 жыл бұрын
I don't do this. My clients usually opt for regular polish (Dazzle Dry which dries in 5 min) or gel polish. I've heard people using CND Shellac base and top as a "strengthening layer" and then put the polish on top. The problem is though that if you want to change the polish often and use acetone the "gel coat" will get damaged from acetone and it will start peeling. So I would do this only if you wanted to wear polish for 10 days or so and then remove polish and soak off the gel coat and start again.

I must be immune to the smell. I've used gelish for over 10 years and have never found the smell to be bad at all not compared to other brands.

Great video! I have a question. I just bought this same gel. Can I use this as a builder then apply a color gel polish over it? If so, should I take the tacky layer off before I apply the color gel?

I just purchased the kit and only the ph bond was included, NOT the PRO bond. Do I need to do both bonds? Thanks!

Don't remove the inhibition layer until after you put on the Top it Off and cure it.

What if you have to correct the shape?
@karenduncan7heartmender4 жыл бұрын
@@TheSalonLife If you want to correct it before the top coat, take the shine off the nails before putting on the top coat. That way, the top coat will have something to hang on to. I'm sorry it took so long to answer.
@TheSalonLife4 жыл бұрын
Hi Karen! That’s what I did. I watched the instruction on Gelish’s IG and tthey show the same instructions. I don’t know why the top coat went on so pitted.

So this cures hard like an acrylic would right?
@TheSalonLife3 жыл бұрын
These gels cure very flexible and file differently than acrylic. They are more rubbery
@reachlove67792 жыл бұрын
Because you buff it in between applying the topcoat . Which caused the lumpy bump’s .

I wouldn’t get a better tan no matter where I lived. I lived in Hawaii twice, once for 4 years and never got a tan once. I do freckle and burn, but am not in danger of a tan. 😂😂. Now that I’m older, I’m glad. If not for the fact that I don’t tan, I would have been laying out in the sun wearing baby oil as a teen.

Well, the explanation sounded way better in my head. It made more sense. But like in the mountains the sun is “stronger” (the higher altitude) or closer to equator.
@sherric78605 жыл бұрын
The Salon Life The explanation made absolute sense and was a very good one. I was being funny, although it was the truth of course. I have very fair skin with a lot of pink in it. So kind of like a sunburned vampire.
@gilliantuck23433 жыл бұрын
It did that cause you wiped the sticky inhibition. Top it off requires the sticky layer
