I am impressed with how well the Vitagel held up! :) I have used both Vitagel and Gelish Structure in Translucent Pink. On myself I like Structure better.
@TheSalonLife4 жыл бұрын
Why is that? Do you find Structure less flexible? Do they both soak off the same?
@Teenitesy4 жыл бұрын
The Salon Life Structure is more like a builder gel in a bottle with soak off capabilities. I am a hairstylist and since I am in water so much a more rigid product is better for me. Structure takes longer to soak off.

Would you recommend one or both of these over the standard Gelish Foundation for base when using Gelish line of color gels and top coat?

I love that show you mentioned! We get it here in the UK on Netflix. The characters are hilarious, especially David (the creator of the show) X

I use two Coates when I do use it. Comes off easily after 15 min. No scraping. Ask him what hand lotion he’s got on. Some lotions will turn gloves yellow.

Him? No lotion. Hand wash before each service. So very strange! Does the Vitagel come off in large chunks for you? Do you use it on its own or with a color on top?

I’ve used it alone after my client soaks off enhancements. They want something that makes their nails look healthier than they are. LOL. They take a break from enhancements anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks once a year. Their preference. I make them take them off if they start having problems with lifting or breaking. Many of my clients are hard on their hands. 🤦🏽♀️ It’s interesting that my clients prefer OPI or Shellac for gel polish. I don’t know if it’s Minnesota weather or what. Gelish seems to be more problematic. I also have a theory on the OPI polish and the Infinite Shine. OPI changed the composition of their regular polish shortly after the owner retired. Consistency wasn’t the same. Lighter colors changed colors in the bottles. Especially Bubble Bath. Manicurists started to complain and Infinite Shine appeared in the market. The original composition of OPI. So I only buy Infinite Shine now.

@@TheSalonLife Since we’re in a pandemic and using hand sanitizer more, I have found certain brands to yellow my gel top coat.

Remember that the nail breathes hahahaha they teach you that the nail is dead and the polishes claim it lets the nail breathe 🤭😬😂🤣

Do you think you could infill the product rather than taking it all off?
@TheSalonLife2 жыл бұрын
I guess but the bond is weaker usually to allow for a soak off.... and because it's a soak off product I wanted to test, well, the soak off :)
