Haven't tried this product but have been curious about it. I'll be watching for the follow up. Thanks for all your hard work and making videos testing so many products, as a new nail tech I'm so thankful I found your channel.

Hi! I came across your page from your review of Gelish Structure... And now I’m down the rabbit hole of watching several of your videos with Gelish! I used VitaGel a few times and quite frankly I remember it not lasting well on clients! But I should try it again. Your application of bonder to the tip is BRILLIANT (I have the pro-Bond) and I can’t wait to try THAT this week! Also, it looks like you flash cure pinky thru index then polish the thumb then entire hand back in for full cure.... Is that so product doesn’t pool when you turn the hand to polish the thumb? I’m fascinated!

When I did my application it lifted I used primer and dehydrator… any advice?
@TheSalonLife2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nini, based off what you have said there could be many reasons why you have lifting. Can you give us additional information? The more details the better. Thanks - MSL

I agree, it felt super rubbery. I hated the feeling so I removed it a few hours after application. I would love to know if the rubbery feeling goes away.
@TheSalonLife4 жыл бұрын
I find that happens with a lot of these soak off gels. Apparently the rubbery feel wore off a bit.

Thanks for the reply! Do you remember if the Cuccio had the same rubbery feeling? I was thinking of trying it since you gave it a great review.
@TheSalonLife4 жыл бұрын
I wore Cuccio and right after curing felt a little dull and rubbery (it has less flexibility) after applying oil and maybe 2 hours later it feels more shiny and less rubbery.

The Salon Life I just applied the Cuccio and I absolutely love it. Thank you for the recommendation.

I have a question, do you cut cuticles? I am starting out in this nail industry and I don't know if "cuticle cutting" is important because some articles say I should not and some say I should.
@TheSalonLife4 жыл бұрын
Well, I don't cut the Proximal Nail Fold that many mistakenly call "cuticle" Here is more info:schoonscientific.com/2019/whats-new-nail-anatomy-latest-facts/ Please check my IG @thesalonlife.ca for pictures what I remove and what I don't

If I apply two coats of recovery, can I do gel polish on top of it?
@TheSalonLife3 жыл бұрын
Yes, cure them both and you should be able to apply gel polish over it. :)

I think I will buy another one!
@sandrastreifel64524 жыл бұрын
I need one, just for my own gel polish collection. Some I’ve had for 5 years, so they need a good shake.
