This song fucks so hard and it pisses me off cause I want to know where this is from and I just can't find it. Like, I have spent 4 god damn hours digging, and I feel just as lost and confused as when I started. For whatever it's worth, here are my findings: As far as I can tell (and my knowledge could be flawed, so take it with a grain of salt) 島白 is the musician (島白 translates to Shimashiro, and allegedly they're also known as Shima26). To the best of my knowledge, they made vocaloid songs, random music, and worked on some indie projects; honestly a lot of bangers, but that's a different topic. After digging _hard_, the closet I found to a source was a niconico video of someone playing this song in beatmania, but I have no idea if it originated there or if it's a custom song. Personally, I lean towards it being a custom song, because I couldn't find any beatmania ost listing it, so this might be a dead end (or maybe mission complete-fuck if I know any more). From there, I started over at square 1. This channel has several other videos with 島白 in the title, and they're using the same thumbnail as this video (maybe it's cover art?), so I went searching here. It was mostly worthless, as aside from listening to more bangers, I found little info. On one of the videos, I got what I thought was going to be a lucky break, after I saw some people discussing one of those songs in a game called Astlibra, so I searched that up. You'd think I'd have my answer at this point, right? Wrong. Astlibra is on steam, split across 2 games, and neither of them seem to have this song in their ost. Hell, from what I could find trying to research it, Astlibra might've actually died mid-development, been abandoned by its devs, and then been resurrected by different devs, who then patched the game together into a finished product, so it's possible this song slipped through the cracks at some point and has been lost to time. Anyway, it's at this point I gave up. The lack of knowledge I have over this song is going to haunt me for years to come; I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but it's tough running up against the wall of "I can't find shit about this thing I'm interested in" while being autistic. Sorry for infodumping a bunch of potentially worthless info, but maybe it'll help someone else figure it out.

@@dhanyl2725 Yeah, and they were pretty good at it too, at least from what I've seen; literally every song I found with their name on it slaps. Wish I knew more about them. I found out that they also were known as よだれP / YodareP on top of 島白 / Shimashiro / Shima26, but that has just been another dead end so far.
